Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren Akins soaked up the sun — and showed off their toned physiques — while on a family getaway.
"Beach time ️," the 33-year-old country singer captioned a set of vacation photos on Instagram, posted on Sunday, July 2.
Rhett stood shirtless with a cheerful expression, cradling his youngest child, Lillie, who is 19 months old, in his arms. They were standing in the pristine water, displaying its crystal-clear beauty. The sun-kissed musician sported swim trunks and a "1901" trucker hat, while Lillie looked adorable in oversized yellow sunglasses and a cute brown floral one-piece swimsuit.

Akins, on her part, appeared more radiant than her partner as she posed for the camera. The 33-year-old writer - who is also a mother to Willa Gray, 7, Ada James, 5, and Lennon, 3, with Rhett - donned a stunning green two-piece swimsuit, complemented by Ray-Ban sunglasses. With a clip holding her blonde locks in a messy bun, she exuded style and elegance.
The family is enjoying a tropical beach adventure while Rhett's Home Team Tour 23 is in full swing, starting on May 4. Rhett will be returning to the stage on Thursday, July 6, in Buffalo, New York. Bringing the tour to a close on September 29, more than two months later, will be a special homecoming in his native state of Tennessee.Courtesy of Thomas Rhett/Instagram
Rhett and Akins are currently savoring their time together as they celebrate the 4th of July. To commemorate Independence Day, the couple took to social media on Friday, June 30 to share their recommended "holiday weekend @dosprimostequila recipe." Via Rhett's Instagram page, Akins can be seen pouring Dos Primos Anejo tequila over sliced watermelon in a bowl and adding a sprinkle of tajin to the fruit. In the video, Rhett cheerfully exclaims, "Cheers!" before indulging in a bite alongside Akins in their kitchen.
Prior to his temporary hiatus from performing, Rhett disclosed that his spouse, whom he wedded in October 2012, pleasantly surprised him during his Kentucky show after weeks of being on tour.
"Incredibly fortunate man," he expressed in the caption of a video on June 24, as Akins stealthily approached him from behind his tour bus. "Love you, darling." Rhett's song "Angels (Don't Always Have Wings)," which was influenced by Akins, played in the background as the pair embraced warmly.
On June 18, Akins expressed her admiration for her partner on Father's Day. She took to Instagram to share her thoughts while promoting Rhett's appearance on her "Live in Love" podcast. "My favorite thing is witnessing his role as a dad," she wrote. "Honey, I love you deeply!"
