Uno Didn’t Die In The Wheel Of Time Books
: Perrin Aybara, joined by Loial, Ingtar, Masema, Elyas, and Uno, found himself embroiled in a conflict against the Seanchan, an oppressive empire introduced in the season 1 finale of Robert Jordan’s books. Serving as the primary antagonists of the season, the Seanchan managed to capture Perrin and his companions. Despite Perrin's eventual escape, with Elyas's assistance, the encounter with the Seanchan had its repercussions. as they chose to make an example of Uno by brutally impaling his face onto a sharpened, horn-shaped object.
Due to Uno's indomitable pride, it comes as no surprise that he did not survive his captivity under the Seanchan's mercy. However, while his unwavering refusal and boldness align with his portrayal in the source material, his fate in the show differs significantly from the books. Similar to his television counterpart, Uno partook in the pursuit of Padan Fain and the Horn of Valere. Yet, the clash with the Seanchan and Uno's demise at their hands were fictional additions to the series. Instead of meeting his end at this juncture, Uno's story endured, with the character making numerous appearances until the very conclusion of the series in A Memory of Light.
