Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen have managed to keep their relationship low-key since rumors of their romance began circulating in May 2023.
Speculation about Allen being involved with Steinfeld arose only a few weeks after fans observed in April 2023 that his girlfriend of long-standing, Brittany Matthews, had unfollowed him on social media. As Allen moved forward with Steinfeld the next month, Matthews removed all pictures of her and the Buffalo Bills quarterback from her Instagram account.
We received exclusive information in June 2023 that Steinfeld is not placing any pressure or having unrealistic expectations, considering Allen's recent end to a long-term relationship with Williams.
Allen, on the other hand, openly discussed his relationship with the Pitch Perfect actress for the first time in August 2023. During an episode of the "Pardon My Take" podcast, Allen expressed his disbelief that people are still interested in their relationship, specifically mentioning reports of them "making out."

The pair was captured on May 25, strolling through the bustling streets of the Big Apple. During the outing, Allen affectionately placed his arm around the True Grit actress before they embarked on a night of entertainment.
Subsequently, Steinfeld and Allen enjoyed a sushi outing with a small group of friends, which was shared on social media. Throughout Memorial Day weekend, they further fueled speculation of a romantic relationship as they continued their exploration of the city.

Allen attempted to avoid discussing his relationship with Steinfeld during his appearance on the “Pardon My Take” podcast. Nonetheless, when cohost Dan “Big Cat” Katz subtly mentioned her name, Allen reluctantly divulged some information.
During the show, Big Cat asked Allen if he had watched Seinfeld before playfully asking, "Are you a fan of Steinfeld?" in an attempt to provoke a reaction from the quarterback. Allen expressed that he was a "big fan" of the sitcom but cleverly avoided directly mentioning his girlfriend's name. Later on, Allen complimented Big Cat on his use of "Steinfeld" in a sentence, acknowledging that he did a good job. Moving to a different topic in the interview, Allen admitted that he feels uncomfortable when photographers try to capture private moments between him and Steinfeld. Specifically, he had a strong reaction to photographers who secretly waited on a boat during a recent vacation with Steinfeld and took pictures of them kissing. Reflecting on this invasion of privacy, Allen expressed his frustration, questioning the behavior of such individuals and emphasizing the lack of privacy during the trip.
