Savage Opress, unlike his brother Darth Maul, was not as skilled and would likely be easily defeated in a one-on-one fight against someone like Obi-Wan Kenobi. However, he received training from Count Dooku, a highly skilled lightsaber duelist, which allowed him to hold his own against Jedi Master Adi Gallia and ultimately kill her.

Throughout his life, Savage Opress managed to survive battles against notable opponents such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Asajj Ventress, and Count Dooku, along with several other Jedi. While he possesses some skill in lightsaber combat, it is important to note that he is comparatively weaker in terms of mastering the Force.
