How to complete the Revelation mission in Starfield
The next stage of the journey, known as the Starfield Revelation, occurs after the challenging Entangled ordeal on Freya III. At this point, you have managed to obtain all the valuable artifacts, with the exception of the ones currently possessed by your two Starborn adversaries. Additionally, the choice you made during the Unearthed mission, whether to align with the Hunter or the Emissary, will undoubtedly influence the outcome of the Revelation quest. The battle above Masada III
Starting the Starfield Revelation mission requires you to travel to Masada III located in the Masada system, situated at the southeastern edge of the galaxy. Remain alert upon arrival, for the Starborn eagerly anticipate your presence:If you have allied with the Hunter or the Emissary, rest assured that they will provide aid against the opposing faction's onslaught.
Masada III is an ideal setting for an intense space battle.
The first encounter: Loading Docks
Upon arrival at the Ecliptic Base, a haunting scene of numerous fallen mercenaries unfolds. Should you have aligned with a Starborn comrade during the climactic moments of Unearthed, they will also be present, warmly welcoming you, and willingly offering their services as a valuable NPC squad member. As you progress towards the Loading Docks area, a group of Starborn will emerge. Utilize the barriers and walls to evade incoming projectiles while also defeating your adversaries. Soon after, you will enter an open space where additional deceased mercenaries can be found. However, a Starborn will revive multiple mercenaries.
Your objective is to eliminate all Ecliptic mercenaries in sight. This is crucial as the Starborn will persistently revive the corpses until they are the sole survivor. Upon their demise, they will drop a key that grants access to the subsequent area.
Enemies of the Starborn shall brave the storm of gunfire. The second encounter: Robot Room
The following battle occurs within a spacious chamber abundant with robotic sentries, robotic dogs, and turrets. Additionally, two Starborn adversaries are present. Interestingly enough, we initially presumed this to be the most uncomplicated altercation within the Starfield Revelation mission. This is due to the fact that you can swiftly proceed towards the central control room, employ a digipick to unlock the door, and manipulate the terminal to modify the friend/foe settings. By doing so, all the machines will divert their hostility towards the Starborn, resulting in a brief and unremarkable skirmish.Rapidly manipulate the terminal to compel the bots to assail the Starborn.
Visions
As you venture deeper into the facility, you will come across disturbances/ripples throughout the area. These peculiarities offer glimpses into past events that have transpired, yet they appear to transpire within alternate universes. For instance, do you recall the moment in A High Price to Pay when one of your comrades perished? It now portrays your own character meeting his demise, consequently prompting your companion (specifically the one with the highest affinity) to embark on a journey as the Emissary. Also, it appears that there is a possibility to engage in a fight with and eliminate Vladimir Sall at this location. By doing so, you can acquire his attire. It is worth noting that this event occurs in an alternate reality, so the Vladimir Sall in your own world is unlikely to take offense.
After your character perishes, the game does not end.
The third encounter: The Cave
The second-to-last confrontation occurs within a colossal cavern. Only one Starborn is present, but they are supported by numerous iterations of each Constellation companion. This battle proves to be the most challenging thus far, as every adversary is armed with a firearm, making it impossible to evade every bullet or laser beam.We suggest taking the lead and advancing ahead to gain an advantage over the Starborn. Once you locate your target, unleash a barrage of attacks. If you find yourself sustaining significant damage, utilize a medpack and seek cover before resuming the assault on the Starborn. Once the entity is defeated, the remaining mirror images will vanish as well.
Send in the clones!
Boss fight: Starborn Skip or Starborn Showdown
Proceed to Temple Mu to complete the Starfield Revelation mission. Upon entering, you will engage in a conversation with the Hunter and the Emissary. You will be presented with the following options:Attacking – You will need to engage in combat with the Starborn faction that you did not align with, or both of them if you rejected their offers in Unearthed.
Persuading – This is why Persuasion is considered one of the top skills in the game. You have the ability to persuade your opponent(s) to surrender. This action requires eight points (or pips), but your chances of success should be high if you have advanced in this skill. Additionally, using a Hippolyta item (found in the Aid section of your inventory) can further increase your odds of success.
If you manage to persuade the Starborn faction to cease their internal conflicts, they will willingly surrender their precious artifacts. Subsequently, you can acquire Artifact Mu from its resting place on the pedestal, thereby completing your collection. However, there is one drawback to consider – you will not be able to acquire their extraordinary legendary weapons unless you resort to attacking them or utilizing console commands.
You have the option to diplomatically convince the leaders of the Starborn to temporarily set aside their animosities. Alternatively, in the Starfield Revelation mission, you may choose to embrace a more aggressive approach. Yet, if you seek to overcome the Hunter and/or the Emissary in Starfield, brace yourself for a monumental final battle. Below, you will find crucial details that you must be aware of:
The two Starborn will utilize a variety of powers, ranging from Solar Flare and Gravity Well to Parallel Self mirror images and the Gravity Wave Fus Ro Dah ability.
If you align yourself with either Starborn, they will also provide assistance and consistently employ their abilities. For example, the Emissary particularly enjoys utilizing Sunless Space to attempt to immobilize targets.
As you damage your opponent/s, you will encounter frequent shifts that transport you to familiar places, albeit in alternate dimensions. For instance, at the Lodge in New Atlantis, Constellation members become hostile as they are unaware of your identity and the sudden appearance of two mysterious individuals. Another example is the NASA Landmark, where these shifts occur in both the zero-G chamber and the gallery.
The citizens flee in terror from the Well in New Atlantis and the Astral Lounge in Neon.
As everyone gathers at Temple Mu, the climax of the battle approaches. After eliminating your target(s), you can seize their artifacts and highly coveted armaments, which are universally recognized as the top weapons in the game. This is a logical outcome since the campaign has concluded.
The Hunter drops Unmitigated Violence, a legendary laser rifle.
The Emissary drops Eternity's Gate, a legendary particle beam rifle.
Additionally, we have encountered the Emissary, who has relinquished three Starborn Spacesuit Gravitas ensembles. However, it is worth mentioning that this was accomplished by utilizing console commands to eliminate the NPCs' essential designation.
That concludes the necessary information on successfully finishing the Revelation ultimate mission in Starfield. With this task accomplished, it is now time to anticipate the various endings and the prospect of New Game Plus.
