Arsenal vs Tottenham: Paul Merson predicts Arsenal's dominance if Postecoglou persists with his attacking style, while Gary Neville shares his love for the thrilling north London derby Don't miss the action on Super Sunday, live on Sky Sports from 1pm

In his We column, Paul Merson expresses his disbelief at the possibility of Tottenham prevailing over Arsenal in the north London derby on Sunday. He attributes this skepticism to Ange Postecoglou's heavy reliance on an attacking style of play. With both teams having secured four wins and a draw in their opening games, the Gunners and Spurs enter this highly anticipated match on equal footing. Catch the action live on We at 2pm.

Tottenham have moved on from Harry Kane's potential move to Bayern Munich this summer, as Postecoglou's appealing style of play has earned the nickname "Angeball" since the beginning of the season.

Nevertheless, pundit Merson predicts that last year's Premier League runners-up will dismantle the Australian coach's tactics.

Tottenham faces a significant challenge, whereas Arsenal's test doesn't seem as significant, does it? The hype surrounding Tottenham is immense, yet their only notable fixture at home this season has been against Manchester United.

One team has been engaged in this activity for the past eighteen months, whereas the Spurs team is currently in the process of organizing it. Arsenal demonstrated their capabilities in the previous season by coming close to defeating the world's top team over a series of 38 games.

The focus on Sunday will be on Tottenham's approach to the match, and I'm uncertain if Ange Postecoglou will alter his strategy. Based on what he has communicated to Celtic fans, it seems unlikely as he has maintained the same style of play throughout his career.

Failure to do so will result in the game becoming more competitive and uncertain. When faced with Arsenal's exceptional passing and movement between lines, it is doubtful if Spurs would be able to match them. They would undoubtedly be outplayed.

If Tottenham chooses a counter-attacking strategy, the dynamics of the game would change. However, I do not believe that the manager has any intention of adopting that approach. As a result, I would be genuinely surprised if Tottenham were to emerge victorious in this football match.

And I am not implying that this will be an easy win for Spurs. Their supporters will be disappointed if they leave without a victory. Anyone considering this as an easy win has either never experienced this match before or does not support Arsenal or Tottenham.

Spurs cannot approach this with the mindset of "it's Arsenal, the second strongest team in the country, so we will easily win." No, Tottenham must go into Sunday's match fully prepared and give their best performance.

Neville: North London derby my favourite fixture

Meanwhile, We pundit Gary Neville has branded the north London derby as his most enjoyable fixture due to the "electricity" between the two sides.

He expressed his excitement for the upcoming north London derby during his interview on the Gary Neville Podcast. Having experienced Merseyside derbies and Manchester derbies since joining We, he acknowledged the memorable matches played in both rivalries. However, it is the north London derby that stands out as his personal favorite, primarily due to the electrifying atmosphere it brings. With its history of magnificent games and numerous goals scored, this rivalry holds a special place in his heart.

I can't wait for the upcoming weekend. The game is anticipated to be absolutely fantastic. Neville also believes that it is premature to evaluate 'Angeball', and proposes that January would be a more suitable time to gauge Postecoglou's progress with the Tottenham team.

Neville mentioned, "While attending the Tottenham vs Man Utd match a few weeks ago, I predicted that the Spurs fans would enjoy this season a lot."

"The team's connection with the manager and the sense of belonging are crucial aspects."

There is indisputable confidence in Ange Postecoglou and his reputation as a respectable individual who is unafraid to express his thoughts in interviews. His commitment to playing exceptional football and willingness to take risks greatly appeals to Spurs fans.

It is crucial to bear in mind that Spurs are currently grappling with the absence of Harry Kane. Despite this setback, the current developments at the club are nothing short of extraordinary. Nonetheless, a reassessment will be necessary come January.

"I'm certain that is the prevailing sentiment amongst the Tottenham coaching personnel. Considering the early stage of the season, it is imperative to remain level-headed and focused on sustained efforts. Their upcoming clash with Arsenal next weekend will undoubtedly be an occasion to shine and display their abilities."
