A talented cosplayer has created an incredible fusion of Iron Man and Thor's MCU appearances, paying meticulous attention to detail. Both Tony Stark and Thor Odinson were original members of the Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and although they fought side by side numerous times during the Infinity Saga, they never exchanged technological upgrades or Asgardian gear. Fans have taken notice of this missed opportunity, as the combination of Iron Man and Thor results in visually stunning cosplay.
User u/JohnPhnow recently shared images on Reddit, showcasing their girlfriend's homemade cosplay that combines Iron Man's Mark 46 armor with Thor's helmet, cape, and Mjolnir. The addition of a blue and gray color scheme also brings to mind Rescue, and the extra arc reactors on the torso suggest that this fusion could have been one of the most formidable Iron Man suits of armor if it had been introduced in the MCU. Take a look at the images below:
Will Combined Heroes Ever Appear In The MCU?

The MCU has the opportunity to explore various Marvel fusions beyond the collaboration between Tony Stark and Thor for an Asgardian Iron Man suit. The source material has already introduced combined heroes, resulting in captivating mashup characters such as the Wolverine/Hulk Hybrid Weapon H, the Punisher/Ghost Rider fusion known as Cosmic Ghost Rider, and the now-iconic Gwenpool. While Gwenpool wasn't originally meant to be part of the Marvel Universe, her immense popularity led to her own solo series. By utilizing the concept of the multiverse, the MCU can potentially incorporate similar mashup characters in Phases 5 and 6.
In the 2018 Marvel Comics storyline Infinity Wars, a universe called Warp World was introduced within the Soul Stone. In this universe, every character was merged with another, resulting in unique fusions such as Arachknight (Spider-Man + Moon Knight), Soldier Supreme (Captain America + Doctor Strange), and Iron Hammer (Iron Man + Thor), also known as Stark Odinson and Sigurd Stark. Similar to @audreyequi7's cosplay, Iron Hammer is a fusion of Iron Man and Thor. Movies and shows within the multiversal MCU, such as Loki season 2, Deadpool 3, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, and Avengers: Secret Wars, could potentially explore the MCU's version of Warp World.
Marvel fusions have not been limited to within the Marvel universe. Amalgam Comics, a collaboration between Marvel and DC, has given birth to hybrids between Marvel and DC icons. Characters like Darkclaw (Batman/Wolverine hybrid) and Iron Lantern (Iron Man/Green Lantern fusion) have been created. Although a live-action adaptation of these fusions is less likely, given the multitude of multiversal possibilities already present in the MCU and the early stages of the new DC Universe, it is still possible during the Multiverse Saga for an Iron Man and Thor fusion to occur, albeit without Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth portraying the characters.
