How to join the Freestar Collective in Starfield

To undertake the Starfield Freestar Collective quest called "Job Gone Wrong," you must venture to Akila City. Located within the Cheyenne system, Akila City serves as the starting point for this mission and awaits your arrival.

The marshal and the Galbank robbery

Upon your arrival, a commotion unfolds in front of the Galbank building, indicating the presence of criminals who have taken hostages within the facility. Express your willingness to assist by informing the marshal, and establish contact with the robbers using the intercom. If your Persuasion skill has been developed, you can make an attempt to defuse the tension successfully. Accomplishing this results in the robbers surrendering, and certain companions, like Sarah, will appreciate your handling of the situation. Regardless of the outcome, resolving the standoff will propel you to the next phase of the quest.

Emma Wilcox and the Deputized mission

The marshal directs you to interact with Emma Wilcox at the Rock, situated as the main headquarters for the Freestar Collective Rangers. Emma herself does not appear overly impressed, but she is willing to give you an opportunity. Your subsequent objective involves checking the mission board terminal, where you will come across tasks encompassing the following categories:

Rescue a captain that's been taken hostage aboard their ship.

Destroy a pirate's ship in orbit over a planet.

Eliminate the captain or leader of an outlaw gang within their headquarters.

Completing a single objective will earn you the favor of Emma. Afterwards, Emma will accompany you and together you will engage in a conversation with the marshal. Following this, you will receive your deputy attire, including a hat and badge, as well as the esteemed Deadeye revolver.

Take note that, even though you're a member of the Starfield Freestar Collective, you'll still have the opportunity to align with other factions, including the United Colonies, Ryujin Industries, and Crimson Fleet.

Montara Luna and The First
