'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon'
AMC declared in 2020 their intention to create a spinoff centered around Daryl (Reddus) and Carol from The Walking Dead. However, later that same year, the network confirmed that McBride would not be involved in the series.
Concerning this surprising departure, an AMC representative stated, "Melissa McBride has breathed life into one of the most captivating, authentic, relatable, and beloved characters in The Walking Dead Universe. Unfortunately, due to logistical challenges, relocating to Europe has become unfeasible for Melissa at this moment."
