As players advance through the main storyline of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, they will encounter various shrines that act as checkpoints for Link's journey. These shrines present combat trials or puzzles for Link to overcome. In some cases, the puzzles are found outside the shrine, and once completed, Link is granted Rauru's Blessing upon entering.

Kahatanaum Shrine Location in Tears of the Kingdom

The Kahatanaum Shrine can be located in the Tears of the Kingdom region at the coordinates -3295, 3430, 1347. Situated in the Rising Island Chain above the Hebra Mountains, players may choose to directly fly a vehicle to these coordinates. However, it is more likely that players will naturally encounter the shrine while progressing through the "Regional Phenomena" questline and completing "Tulin of Rito Village." Alternatively, players can make their way to Hebra Peak and climb onto a stone platform at the coordinates -2777, 2897, 0738.

From the Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower, players can see the plethora of platforms rising into the sky from the peak.

After being launched from the tower, Link can easily glide to the coordinates to begin his ascent.

Kahatanaum Shrine Walkthrough

Reaching the Kahatanaum Shrine is truly a daunting task due to its elevated location in the sky. If players opt to conquer the soaring heights by ascending and navigating the numerous floating platforms, it is highly advisable to undertake this endeavor with the assistance of "Tulin of Rito Village." Tulin's unique ability, the Power of Wind, proves indispensable in this challenging expedition. Flying vehicles are scarce, and therefore, relying on Tulin's powers becomes crucial for accessing various sections of the shrine, including the initial floating platform near the summit.

After crossing to the first floating platform, players can stack the two blocks found there in order to reach the platform above with Ascend:

Upon reaching the elevated platform, players should promptly activate Ascend to scale the towering stone pillar above. Upon reaching the summit, players will find themselves at the commencement of the Rising Island Chain, where they can smoothly glide and utilize Ascend to reach the sacred shrine.
