How to Edit Sims Body in Sims 4
To customize a Sim, simply enter CAS mode in The Sims 4. In this mode, players are provided with the flexibility to edit their Sim's body to match their preferences. Easily modify different body parts by following the steps below.
To modify the demeanor of the Sims, click on their face.
Players can choose from pre-established physical characteristics or edit Sims' demeanor directly from the Detail Edit mode.
In CAS mode, players can edit different parts of the body as face, hair, and body shape. Let's take a look at changing various aspects of Sims' appearance.
Editing the Face
The Sims 4 offers players a collection of sixteen skin tones, including both standard and distinctive options. Additionally, players have the ability to choose from a variety of pre-existing face shapes. Furthermore, the shapes of the face can be further customized and adjusted in the Detail edit mode.
After choosing a face shape, players can modify various aspects of face by clicking on them.
Players can also tailor the elements such as; eyes, chin, and nose.

Editing the body shape
Players have the freedom to modify various body parts of their Sims, including the stomach, feet, arms, and thighs. This can be achieved by selecting a specific body part and then dragging it either to the right or left.
Editing the Hair
In this section, players can select from various hairstyles and hair colors.
Makeup
Players can also edit and select from this section and apply makeup features like eye shadow, eyeliner, blush-on, and lipstick on the Sims.
Accessories
For glitz and glam, players can select accessories like necklaces and earrings. Some options are available for male Sims, such as a wristwatch.
Hats
Players can up the fashion game of Sims by giving them a hat. Hats are of three types: with a brim, without a brim, caps.
Editing Existing Sims in Sims 4
In the Sims 4, there is no conventional way to edit a pre-existing sim. The game only allows players to modify a sim's body during the creation process. However, players can make use of cheats to customize pre-existing Sims within their household.
To activate cheats within the game on a PC, press CTRL + SHIFT + C.
MAC: Command + SHIFT + C
PS4: Press L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons.
Xbox One: Press LB, LT, RB, and RT buttons.
Once cheats are activated, follow these steps.
Type "testingcheats true" in the windows and hit enter.
Wait for the message "Cheats are Enabled" to pop up.
Type the cheat "cas.fulleditmode" and press enter.
Now, players will be able to edit any sim by left-clicking on any Sim while holding the Shift key and choosing the interaction "Edit in CAS."

Fortunately, Sims 4 provides a straightforward method to change the accessories and outfits of Sims. Here is a guide on how to do it.

Changing Traits in Sims 4
When creating a Sim, players have the opportunity to select preferred traits that influence their behavior and interests in the game. However, if players later decide that these traits no longer match their interests, there is no built-in option to edit or change them.
Fortunately, cheats can be used to address this issue. By using the cas.fulleditmode cheat and following the provided steps, players can alter their Sim's traits. Another option is to visit the rewards store and purchase a Re-Traiting Potion for 5000 satisfaction points. Sims can then consume this potion to change their traits.
