Julie possesses the utmost level of Stealth among all the victims in Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Her skill, Ultimate Escape, amplifies this ability by enabling her to run briefly without producing any sound. The likelihood of encountering a family member while sprinting often leads to certain death, making Julie an exceptional choice even without any acquired skills or advantages.
Given the chance, Julie can flee before the family is even adequately positioned, causing distress to specific family members who heavily rely on tracking their victims. As a result, she becomes one of the rare individuals with a fair probability of surviving in Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
Skill Tree
Must Have Been The Wind is considered one of the top perks in the game, and Julie can easily access it on the left side of her skill tree. To obtain the maximum number of attribute points and acquire this crucial perk, navigate through the branches by taking the first two left turns, then go right, and finally choose either left or right at the end.
When it comes to the rest of the perks and random perks, Julie is already highly skilled and doesn't require any additional assistance. Her other two ideal perks are automatically unlocked right from the start. For players who have mastered the maps and want a different selection of perks, it is possible to respec and swap perks until the desired ones become available.
Perks
Must Have Been The Wind
Knock Knock
Tool Tracks
Knock Knock and Tool Tracks are considered as two highly advantageous perks in the game, particularly when it comes to familiarizing oneself with the map layouts. By utilizing them together, Julie has the ability to obtain two picks, locate the nearest door, and swiftly open it right at the start of the game.
Must Have Been The Wind brings all of these elements together, enabling players to effortlessly move at top speed while collecting tools and accessing crawl spaces, all without producing a single sound. When playing alongside friends, it is essential to have someone like Julie, or a player with a comparable build, oversee all initial tasks to ensure the group remains entirely unnoticed.
Attributes
Proficiency: +25
Boosting her skill set with the additional attributes, Julie should prioritize enhancing her proficiency and allocating extra points to improve Stealth. This will not only ensure Julie's ability to navigate the environment silently, but also enable her to do so with speed and effectiveness.
The most adept family members will diligently patrol and routinely inspect secured entrances. Lacking additional skills, Julie will be vulnerable and exposed while attempting to unlock the doors. The ability to move quietly is irrelevant when crouched by a door, attempting to gain entry, thus requiring both proficiency and stealth.
Ability Modifiers
Level 1: Quicker Recharge Rate
Level 2: Decreased Sprint Stamina
Level 3: Increased Duration
Choosing Quicker Recharge Rate as the first priority is a wise decision, as Julie will only need to utilize her Ultimate Escape once per game. Activate this ability when breaking through the basement door to reach the final exit without letting the family know which direction Julie has taken.
The next logical option is to decrease Sprint Stamina. While it may be tempting to save this for level 3 in order to completely minimize stamina drain, reducing it by 75% is sufficient to reach the end without depleting the stamina bar.
Lastly, opting for Increased Duration will ensure that players who control Julie can reach the final destination within 20 seconds without attracting any attention.
Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
