Despite the extensive destruction of Earth in the past century since humanity's departure, Starfield players can still explore numerous renowned landmarks of the planet. Although most of these landmarks have seen better days, they possess a certain charm that makes them worth a visit if given the opportunity.
Located in what was once the state of Missouri, the Gateway Arch in Saint Louis remarkably remains in relatively good condition. However, accessing and exploring this iconic landmark in Starfield requires players to acquire a special book, a task that proves to be challenging.
How to Visit the Gateway Arch (Saint Louis Landmark)
In order to access the St. Louis Landmark landing site, players must obtain a particular book named The Price of Destiny. The penthouse of Benjamin Bayu, Mayor of Neon, is a known location where this book can be found. Nevertheless, players must first obtain the key before gaining entry into his penthouse.
Thankfully, this task is quite straightforward, as Bayu can frequently be spotted at the Astral Lounge. To locate him, players can simply take the elevator to the VIP area where they will find him standing alone in Booth 4. They can then skillfully pickpocket the penthouse key from him at this location. In the event that he's not present in the booth, players may need to find a seat and patiently wait for a few hours.
Once players possess the key, they should exit the Astral Lounge and promptly turn left, leading them to a secluded elevator granting access to Benjamin Bayu's Penthouse. Upon verifying the possession of the key, they will ascend to the summit of the trade tower, where they will discover a copy of The Price of Destiny resting on the right side of Bayu's desk.
Upon acquiring the book, players will have the St. Louis Landmark landing site incorporated into their Earth map in Starfield. This feature enables direct access to the Gateway Arch, a renowned St. Louis landmark. Similar to other Earth landmarks within the game, there is limited interactivity available, primarily allowing players to capture snapshots utilizing the game's Photo Mode. However, players may also discover the St. Louis snow globe situated on a rock directly beneath the arch. Starfield is currently accessible on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
