Additionally, it is recommended to have advanced one of Starfield's combat skills in order to inflict additional damage using either beam or ballistic weapons prior to entering the Lair of the Mantis.

By collecting every Spacer they encounter, players can gain valuable loot and access audio recordings that chronicle Leon's journey through the space station he inherited from his mother. These recordings, in combination with finding an intercom in the Lair, fulfill the optional sub-objective of the quest, "Learn About the Lair of the Mantis".
