Sorcerers have three subclasses to choose from that inform their bloodline:

Additionally, this feature bestows the Tides of Chaos ability, granting Advantage on the next Attack Roll, Ability Check, or Saving Throw, while also heightening the likelihood of a magical surge occurring.

Draconic Bloodline: Each Sorcerer level adds an extra point to the character's maximum Hit Points. Furthermore, the Sorcerer's skin exhibits patches of dragon scales, and when not wearing any armor, their Base Armor Class is raised to 3. The specific species and elemental affinity of the dragon are determined by the chosen color.

The Storm Sorcerer specializes in harnessing the power of lightning and other elemental magic. More information about this subclass will be made available during the launch.

On the other hand, the Draconic Bloodline subclass provides a wide range of elemental specializations and resistances. As the Sorcerer progresses, they gain the ability to learn an extra spell at Level 1, and at Level 6, they acquire resistance to a specific element and a boost in damage dealt with that element.

Metamagic: Careful Spell – Allies are guaranteed to succeed at saving throws against spells that require them. This ability requires 1 Sorcery Point.

Metamagic: Distant Spell – Spells have their range extended by 50%. Melee spells have their range increased to 9 meters. This ability costs 1 Sorcery Point.

Metamagic: Extended Spell – Increases the duration of spell effects, summons, and created surfaces by two-fold. Requires 1 Sorcery Point.

Metamagic: Twinned Spell – Allows spells originally limited to a single target to also affect another creature. Requires 1 Sorcery Point.
