Heat-Endurance Contest! Quest Walkthrough
: Participants must first embark on the Cold-Endurance Contest! side quest, completing it successfully before they can undertake the Heat-Endurance Contest! side quest. Only then will they come across Rahdo, an elderly man residing at the summit of the mountain, who has set up a modest camp.Following his victory against Rahdo by enduring the freezing desert night, Link faces another daunting challenge: enduring scorching daylight in the sweltering desert. Similar to the previous trial, participants must stand solely on a small pillar, devoid of any clothing or protective armor. Additionally, aspiring conquerors of this side quest must contribute 150 Rupees as an entry fee.
Wearing the Desert Voe set, which is heat-resistant armor, is not possible in this case. To endure the cold night, alternatives include consuming food with heat-resistant effects or attaching a Sapphire to one of the weapons and keeping it equipped.
For players who do not have these resources, they can utilize the Ultrahand to construct a temporary shelter using the rock slabs shown above. The appearance of the shelter is not important as long as it provides shade for Link and is built during the challenge. Once standing on the pillar and surviving until afternoon, Rahdo will reward Link with 300 Rupees and admit defeat in desert endurance challenges.
