The hit TV series Mad Men took its cast to new heights of fame and success, with actors like Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, and January Jones becoming A-list celebrities. Set in a New York City ad agency during the 1960s, the period drama ran on AMC for a remarkable seven seasons, captivating audiences from July 2007 to May 2015. Throughout its run, the show and its talented ensemble received numerous accolades, including five Golden Globes, 16 Emmy Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
After the conclusion of the series, the cast kept in touch through text messages. In October 2019, Hendricks revealed exclusively to We that they were all connected through a group chat. "I was actually hanging out with [creator] Matt Weiner last night," she added. During the holidays, they always have a big group text where everyone participates. It usually starts with one person initiating the conversation, and it can go on for days.
Although the cast maintains a strong bond, the actress believes that a revival of the show is highly unlikely due to everyone's busy schedules.
During an exclusive interview with Us, Hamm expressed his lack of interest in rebooting any of his previous projects, jokingly referencing "The Division on Lifetime." He fondly acknowledged his involvement in the popular television program but stated that he is not looking to revive it. Additionally, Hamm confessed that he does not watch old episodes of Mad Men, explaining that he sees enough of himself already and does not obsess over it at home.
Hamm expressed his thoughts on the internet's habit of pointing out flaws and critiquing things. He admitted that it is always a strange experience because there will be moments when he believes something is terrible, and unfortunately, the internet confirms those beliefs, often using anonymous screen names. In order to avoid this negativity, he tries to stay away from online platforms that specifically pertain to him.
In April 2015, Hamm and his Bridesmaids co-stars discussed what they had taken from the set after wrapping up filming. He revealed that he chose not to take anything physical, as most of the items were rented. He valued the memories he made during the filming process, considering them to be delightful. Hamm emphasized that taking anything would have amounted to stealing.
Hendricks decided to preserve some belongings from her character Joan's apartment, such as a serving tray, a picture, and glasses. She happily shared, "These items are now adorning my own home, and each time I lay eyes on them, it brings a smile to my face."
As for John Slattery, he made sure to obtain "the desk lamp from Roger's office – all with proper permission."

‘Mad Men’ Cast: Where Are They Now?
The critically acclaimed TV series Mad Men propelled the careers of its cast, Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Christina Hendricks, and January Jones, to new heights, elevating them to A-list status. Set in a 1960s New York City ad agency, the period drama captivated audiences for seven seasons, running from July 2007 to May 2015 on AMC. Throughout its run, the show and its talented ensemble garnered an impressive array of accolades, including five Golden Globes, 16 Emmy Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
After the show concluded, the actors stayed connected through text messages. Hendricks revealed in an exclusive interview with We in October 2019 that they all stayed in touch through a group chat. "Last night, I actually hung out with [creator] Matt Weiner," she said. "During the holidays, we always have a big text chain where everyone sends messages. Someone will start it, and it'll go on for a couple of days."
Although the cast members remain close, Hendricks doesn't believe a revival of the show is likely due to everyone's busy schedules.
During an exclusive interview with Us, Hamm expressed his thoughts on rebooting his previous projects. When asked if he would be interested in a reincarnation of The Division on Lifetime, he responded with a witty comment in February 2020. "No is the short answer," he quipped. However, he expressed his appreciation for being part of such a fantastic television program and remained open to the possibility of getting involved in another one.
Interestingly, the actor revealed that he doesn't even watch old episodes of Mad Men. During a conversation with Us in January 2017, he stated, "No, I watch myself enough, I don't need to." Hamm made it clear that he doesn't spend his time at home obsessing over his past work.
Hamm expressed that it is always strange to see people criticizing and labeling something as terrible on the internet. He mentioned that it is often someone hiding behind an anonymous screen name who makes such negative comments. To avoid getting affected by these opinions, he shared that he tries to stay away from the internet.
When asked about what he took from the set of Bridesmaids after they finished filming, Hamm and his co-stars revealed in April 2015 that they chose to take only memories. He mentioned that most of the items on set were rented, so taking them would have constituted stealing.
Hendricks decided to keep some items from her character Joan's apartment, such as a serving tray, a picture, and glasses. "Now these items are displayed in my home, and they never fail to bring a smile to my face," she mentioned.
On the other hand, John Slattery took possession of "the desk lamp from Roger's office — with the owner's consent."
