Final Fantasy 16 offers a wide range of engaging side quests that allow players to momentarily divert from the main storyline. As players advance, more side quests become accessible, providing ample opportunities for those who are eager to assist every non-playable character they come across.
In Final Fantasy 16, the Do No Harm side quest becomes obtainable while playing the Bolts from the Blue main quest, but only after Clive fulfills the prerequisite of completing the Getting to Work sub-objective. Once this requirement is met, Clive is able to initiate the Do No Harm side quest by locating and engaging with the quest-giver.
How To Start Do No Harm In Final Fantasy 16
After finishing the Getting to Work sub-objective, Clive can initiate the Do No Harm side quest by speaking with Rodrigue, a Physicker NPC located in The Infirmary area of The Hideaway. Rodrigue, who is scheduled to perform a brand removal surgery on a patient, expresses concern about the potential consequences of a failed surgery.
In an effort to alleviate the individual's discomfort, he requests Clive to collect Errmonea, leaves known for their pain-relieving properties.
Where To Find Errmonea Leaves For Rodrigue
After accepting the quest, Clive should travel quickly to Hawk's Cry Cliff, located just west of The Hideaway, and proceed in a northern direction. Along the way, he will come across some Agitated Hornets (Level 28) and Riled Raptors (Level 28), but they pose no significant challenge, particularly for players who have unlocked the Flames of Rebirth ability. Once Clive successfully handles these adversaries, he should continue heading north until he reaches an impassable point.
Clive will come across three green quest markers as he reaches the edge of the river, which pinpoint the precise locations of the Errmonea Leaves he is searching for. In order to collect them, the player must press and hold the X button while Clive is facing each quest marker.
Once Clive has gathered all three Errmonea Leaves, he can conveniently fast-travel back to The Hideaway to deliver them to Rodrigue.
How To Complete Do No Harm In Final Fantasy 16
When Clive returns to The Infirmary, he can give the collected Errmonea Leaves to Rodrigue. After receiving them, Rodrigue expresses gratitude for Clive's help and mentions that using three Errmonea Leaves during the surgery will likely make it painless for the patient. Although Rodrigue still appears anxious about the operation, Clive reassures him that there is no need to worry, as he trusts Rodrigue's abilities to perform the procedure without any issues.
Feeling more confident, Rodrigue thanks Clive for his kind words and rewards him with 40 Sharp Fangs and 40 Steelsilk. These materials can be used to craft and upgrade equipment.
