In 2017, Lauren Conrad shared with us the inside scoop on Friendsgiving planning. "In past years, we've had to rent an extra table and chairs," she explained. "You have to consider that many people travel for the holiday. So there are two options: you can have Friendsgiving in addition to Thanksgiving, or you can have it instead of Thanksgiving if you have friends who don't travel."

The reality star and Australian singer kicked off the holiday season in November 2023 by celebrating with some well-known members of the Selling Sunset cast, including Heather Rae El Moussa and Bre Tiesi.
"Exciting news! We're hosting our inaugural Friendsgiving," Stause shared on her Instagram Story as her partner embraced her from behind. "Yes! And a special shoutout to all the viewers of Selling Sunset."

Carrie Underwood
Amid the 2020 coronavirus pandemic, the singer, Carrie Underwood, and her husband, Mike Fisher, extended an invitation to their friend, Jay Cutler, to join them for Thanksgiving. In an Instagram post, the former football player expressed their gratitude for a bountiful feast, with Underwood and Fisher cooking a large turkey in a vat of oil, providing enough food for 20 people. Wishing everyone a fantastic Turkey day!
In her own post, Underwood mentioned that she was unable to be with her family this year because of the pandemic. However, she expressed her gratitude to Cutler, a fellow Nashville resident, for taking charge of the turkey preparation.
