The foursome's bond remains stronger than ever, more than ten years after their first collaboration and a return for a sequel in 2008. Tamblyn reaffirmed their enviable dynamic with a social media message on International Women's Day in March 2019.

Bledel, a former star of Gilmore Girls, had previously shared that despite their busy schedules, the women always make time for each other. "We don't get to see each other a lot because everybody's work or family and everything," Bledel mentioned during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in April 2018. "But when everyone's in town, we do [get together]."
In addition to their tradition of New Year's Eve hangouts and celebrating big life events together, the stars of the Sisterhood franchise have hinted at an onscreen comeback for years.
“We are so proud to be friends, and we would love to continue making movies together for the rest of our lives,” Tamblyn told We exclusively in March 2018.
In addition, the women are expanding their circle by having babies and ensuring that their little ones experience the love they share for each other every step of the way.

‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants’ Stars Reuniting Over the Years
The enduring bond of sisterhood! Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera, and Amber Tamblyn have continued their Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants characters’ legacy by forming a lifelong friendship that began with the original 2005 movie.
The Sisterhood films depicted Bridget (Lively), Lena (Bledel), Carmen (Ferrera), and Tibby (Tamblyn) passing a pair of seemingly magical jeans amongst themselves during their youth, forging an unbreakable bond. Now, over a decade since their initial collaboration and the 2008 sequel, their connection is even stronger.
In March 2019, Tamblyn celebrated the remarkable bond of her close-knit group on International Women’s Day with a heartfelt message on social media.
“To the women I’ve weathered the storm with, I want to show my appreciation,” she shared on Instagram. “The women I wish I could spend more time with, but when we do, it’s like no time has passed. The women I’ve leaned on and who’ve leaned on me, in both tangible and figurative ways.”
Tamblyn expressed, "The women I've shared the stage with, quarreled with, danced until dawn with, celebrated weddings with, cradled each other's newborns, shared countless conversations over wine, had sleepovers, experienced breakdowns, and shared life-changing moments with. Cheers to all the sisterhoods who have done the same for each other."
Bledel, known for her role in Gilmore Girls, previously shared that despite their busy schedules, the women always manage to make time for each other.
