A player in Starfield has skillfully exploited the game's impressive physics to quietly pilfer a substantial amount of in-game currency. Following in the footsteps of previous Bethesda games, Starfield presents players with the opportunity to liberate nearly anything not securely fastened down to their liking. Furthermore, akin to its predecessors, Starfield infuses each and every item within the game with its distinct physics, allowing players and other characters to manipulate them at will.
As players delve deeper into Starfield, they have continually slipped the confines of reality by exploiting the game's physics in a myriad of absurd ways. One remarkable instance involves a player who painstakingly gathered a multitude of potatoes, then placed them all within a single room, subsequently revealing the uncanny realism as each individual potato reacted to their surroundings due to their unique physics.
Starfield's physics can be manipulated for entertaining viral videos, but they can also enable players to steal items without consequences. To illustrate, a Starfield player named MrJsingh discovered a gambling table with a pile of credits on top. Normally, taking the credits would provoke NPCs to become hostile, potentially leading to attacks or alerting authorities. However, MrJsingh cleverly circumvented this by using an item to move the credits into a basket on the floor, and then discreetly taking the basket to a secluded area to make the theft undetected.
While there are certainly more efficient methods to earn money quickly in Starfield, this approach showcases the creativity within the game's community. With Starfield now fully released after its early access phase, it's highly likely that fans will continue sharing ingenious clips of players using the game's physics in unconventional ways.
When playing Starfield, players should keep in mind a unique method of stealing. However, it's important to note that the classic Bethesda thievery method used in previous games doesn't work in this new game. In Skyrim, players could put buckets on NPC's heads to obscure their vision and steal from them undetected. In Starfield, players can still do this, but it doesn't have the same effect as in Skyrim. Therefore, players cannot expect to freely steal everything without consequences. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see the creative ways that Starfield players discover for stealing items in the game. Starfield is now available for PC and Xbox Series X.
