Olive Specter's Murdering Element Could Ignite The Sims 5

Olive Specter's yard in The Sims 2 was enough to make the hairs stand on the backs of many gamers' heads. It was filled with numerous burial sites, sparking suspicion among players. Delving into Olive's life reveals that she has been widowed three times, with only her third husband, Ichabod Specter, passing away from natural causes. The mysterious deaths of her previous two husbands and the abundance of Sims buried around her house have led gamers to deem her a serial killer. This label isn't without reason, considering Olive's questionable behavior and encounters with the Grim Reaper.

While some of the graves around Olive's house are not directly associated with her actions, there are notable connections. Her sister Willow and her husband Creon tragically drowned and found their final resting place in Olive's garden. Additionally, her Strangetown-native parents met their demise in a fire, although there is no evidence linking Olive to their deaths, aside from the family's apparent curse. However, the chain of murders linked to Olive Specter commences with her first love, Earl E. DeMise, who left her at the altar. He met his demise shortly after through electrocution, leading fans to speculate that Olive may have sought revenge for being jilted. Subsequently, her husbands Rigger Mortis and Hugh Thanasia would also meet their untimely ends, and rumors suggest that Olive even encountered the Grim Reaper after their deaths.

However, things don't go according to plan when Olive unexpectedly falls in love with the Grim Reaper. This unconventional romance leads to speculation that the Grim Reaper is the father of Olive's son, Nervous Subject, as there is no information about his biological father in his family tree. Unfortunately, social services intervenes and takes Nervous Subject away, leaving Olive feeling lonely despite living with her niece. Her subsequent murders, starting with Earl E. DeMise, are believed to be driven by her desperate desire to reunite with the Grim Reaper. The increasing number of graves and her aggressive behavior further fuel suspicions that she may be a serial killer.

While Olive is a regular character in The Sims 4, Maxis should consider reintroducing her as a legendary figure in The Sims 5 and allow players to unleash her murderous tendencies once again. In the game, players would need to be cautious if they worked in service professions as they could become potential targets for Olive's killing spree, risking a deadly encounter with the Grim Reaper.
