After the baby is born, players can easily change the gender of their Sim in the CAS mode. To begin, simply open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C. Once the console appears, enter "testingcheats true" to activate cheats in the game. Next, type "cas.fulleditmode" in the dialogue box to access the Create a Sim mode.
From there, locate the Sim whose gender you wish to change and simultaneously press Shift while clicking on the Sim. A menu will appear with various options, and you should choose "Modify in CAS". This will take you to the CAS mode specifically for that Sim. In this mode, you have the freedom to change the gender of your Sim. To do so, click on the male and female gender icons above the 'three dots' icon and make the desired adjustments. You can switch a male Sim to female or vice versa.
Remember that this method is feasible only after the baby is born. Players can't use it for a pregnant Sim and expect them to have a baby of their choice in the future.
