While all three protagonists in Grand Theft Auto 5 are criminals, Trevor displays a distinct inclination towards violence that sets him apart. While Michael and Franklin are not strangers to confrontations, Trevor enthusiastically embraces opportunities for bloodshed. In fact, as soon as players assume control of Trevor, the first action is killing a security guard. It is also implied that he had previously murdered Wade's associates before the game's events, and certain scenes that occur when switching to Trevor suggest recent killings. In contrast, Michael and Franklin do not have comparable scenes, emphasizing Trevor's perilous nature.

Trevor Amasses Plenty of Kills in Grand Theft Auto 5

Trevor introduces himself by eliminating Johnny Klebitz, the former protagonist of Grand Theft Auto, even before the player assumes control. He follows this by targeting and taking down the Lost MC. Later on, Trevor, as per the official storyline, proceeds to eliminate the O'Neil Brothers shortly after they make a deal with Mr. Cheng. However, players have discovered an exploit that allows them to despawn the O'Neil Brothers, although the narrative still treats them as deceased. Apart from his criminal rivals, Trevor is not obligated to kill anyone else until he reunites with Michael. Nevertheless, Trevor's violent introduction effectively explains Michael's discomfort regarding their reunion.

Despite their strained relationship, Trevor's subsequent kill count aligns with Michael's in GTA 5, as they join forces to eliminate Marvin Medrazo's brother and the pilot escorting him for testimony. After the mysterious demise of Floyd and Debra, Trevor promptly ends the life of a strip club owner, transforming the establishment into his new headquarters. Thereafter, his only confirmed kills are Steve Haines and a collaborative effort with Michael and Frank to eliminate Devin Weston, both occurring in the finale of Ending C. Notably, Trevor is the sole protagonist who never inflicts harm upon one of the others in any ending.

Trevor's body count in GTA 5 is not surprising, considering his extensive list of crimes. It's actually quite shocking that it isn't even higher. Even in YouTuber DarkViperAU's pacifist run attempt, Trevor managed to rack up a significant number of kills before completing his first mission. Since Trevor often operates alone and has many combat-focused tasks, he ends up personally taking out a lot of enemies. It's hardly unexpected that Trevor, as the only character with access to Rampage missions, would likely have the highest maximum kill count in GTA 5.

With a minimum of seventeen confirmed kills in the game's storyline, Trevor brings a substantial amount of death to Grand Theft Auto 5. He immediately establishes himself as a character who belongs in prison by embarking on a killing spree, and continues to be the unpredictable wildcard of the team until the credits roll. While players can attempt to reduce Trevor's kill count using various tactics, it is impossible to progress through the game without him committing multiple murders along the way. While not the deadliest protagonist in the Grand Theft Auto series, Trevor leaves a trail of destruction throughout Grand Theft Auto 5.
