Highlights
The victims in Texas Chain Saw Massacre are at a disadvantage against the ruthless family who often kill everyone.
Several game characters have the capability to successfully escape and rescue their companions, albeit with great difficulty. Among them, Julie stands out as the most adept at stealth and possesses the stamina to outrun pursuers, making her the optimal choice for evading the family.
The characters in the Texas Chain Saw Massacre face a significant challenge as they are in a disadvantaged position. Through multiple games, it becomes evident that the family holds the advantage in most confrontations. This is likely intentional as the family tends to eliminate almost every individual who enters their home, making survival a stroke of luck.
While some victims in the Texas Chain Saw Massacre conform to their expected fate of death and defeat, there are a few exceptions. These select individuals manage to change the outcome, successfully escaping their attackers on numerous occasions. They deserve additional recognition for not only saving themselves but also protecting their friends.
5 Ana
Toughness | 35 |
Endurance | 25 |
Strength | 30 |
Proficiency | 20 |
Stealth | 20 |
Ability: Pain is Nothing
If this list were to rank the tanking abilities of the game characters, Ana would undeniably claim the top spot. Boasting the highest Toughness attribute, she is exceptionally resilient. Furthermore, her unique skill, "Pain is Nothing," not only enhances her endurance but also renders her immune to poison. However, Ana's tanking proficiency presents a glaring drawback. Tanking is generally an imprudent strategy and lacks utility. In fact, even Ana, despite her exceptional attributes, would find it nearly impossible to survive once exposed. Sacrificing Proficiency and Stealth for an emphasis on Toughness is an ill-advised decision.
4 Leland
Toughness | 20 |
Endurance | 30 |
Strength | 40 |
Proficiency | 25 |
Stealth | 10 |
Ability: Life Saver
Leland's lack of stealth makes him a hindrance when it comes to sneaking around, which is a major part of the game. While his high strength attribute is commendable, he isn't capable of winning a fair fight against any family member. His ability, Life Saver, allows him to briefly stun a family member, offering a chance for escape if timed correctly. However, this ability's effectiveness is limited, as it is difficult to time properly and has no effect on Leatherface. Therefore, the potential benefits are simply not worth it.
3 Sonny
Toughness | 15 |
Endurance | 35 |
Strength | 35 |
Proficiency | 25 |
Stealth | 15 |
Ability: Heightened Sense
2 Julie
Sonny is a character who unfortunately sacrifices Stealth in favor of Strength and Endurance; however, his redeeming quality lies in his Heightened Sense ability. When activated, he can listen in on conversations through walls and this ability has a short cooldown, providing him the confidence to enter any room without the fear of being ambushed. His value further enhances when playing with friends as he can inform the team about the safety of the next room or whether the enemies are catching up.

Ultimate Escape:
Frequently, players will find themselves in situations where they need to flee. Julie possesses the highest Stealth attribute in the game, which complements her Ultimate Escape skill. This skill enables her to run with greater speed and endurance while keeping noise to a minimum. In the event that Grandpa becomes aware of their presence, other characters will be forced to remain stationary and face the risk of being discovered. However, Julie effectively counters this strategic move by family members, as she is capable of escaping more securely and swiftly than any other character.
1 Connie
Toughness | 20 |
Endurance | 25 |
Strength | 15 |
Proficiency | 35 |
Stealth | 30 |
Ability: Focused
Although Julie may have the best chance of individual success, Connie is ultimately chosen as the team's leader due to her exceptional ability to focus. In many games, progress is hindered when family members hear the sound of a lock being picked. Skilled players are aware of the locations of escape routes and regularly check for any signs of slow door openings. However, Connie possesses the unique skill to instantly and discreetly open doors, potentially saving herself and all the other victims.
Texas Chain Saw Massacre is currently accessible on various platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
