Courtney fondly recalls how she instills this resilient spirit in her daughter, Ruby, as they navigate the idyllic countryside. Reflecting on the wholesome experience, Courtney shares, 'Wyoming is home. We love it. It’s back to basics. Even though it’s so beautiful and it’s so nice, you learn how to cowgirl it up! If (Ruby) gets a boo boo. And she’s like, ‘Oh, ow!’ we’ll go, ‘You’re tough, right? You’re cowgirl tough.’ She says, ‘I’m a cowgirl. I’m tough.’'

Three years ago, amidst the pandemic, Courtney ventured into the floral subscription industry, marking the inception of Bouquet Box in Jackson Hole. This endeavor has not only flourished but has also become an integral part of the Sixx family's life in Wyoming. The countryside, overlooking the majestic mountain range, has become their very own 'slice of heaven,' a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.

The Essence of Wyoming Living

The transition from the glitz of Hollywood to the serene countryside of Wyoming has been a transformative experience for the Sixx family. Courtney emphasizes the enriching environment that Wyoming offers, especially for their daughter, Ruby. She highlights the charm of the quaint schools and the harmonious balance that Wyoming provides. Courtney reflects, 'The schools are small and it’s just quaint. And I think it’s a great balance for all of us, but especially for Ruby, because Nikki and I we were not raised like this at all and getting to live in two places and getting to travel. We want to instill in her down-home goodness.'

Despite their part-time return to Los Angeles, Wyoming remains the cornerstone of the Sixx family's heart. Courtney expresses how the move to Wyoming has enriched their lives, allowing them to connect with remarkable individuals who share their love for the countryside. She remarks, 'It’s been great for our family. We’ve met just the salt of the earth and incredible people in Wyoming. And it’s such a melting pot. What’s cool about it is everyone you meet, they’ve kind of come there because they really, really want to be there and enjoy the snow or fishing. It’s been really fun.'

The idyllic countryside of Wyoming has also kindled the adventurous spirit within Ruby, who, much like her father, is embracing the world of performance. Courtney shares her daughter's love for outdoor escapades, from the serene Snake River to the awe-inspiring Tetons.
