How The Santa Clauses Finale Sets Up Season 2
In the first season of The Santa Clauses, Scott faces the challenge of his family missing out on meaningful coming-of-age experiences because of his career as Santa Claus. Wanting to prioritize his loved ones, Scott decides to retire from his role as Santa and selects a replacement. Unfortunately, Kal Penn's Simon Choksi fails to uphold Scott's legacy and transforms Christmas into a commercialized package delivery company known as Christmas Every Day.
After learning about the disappearance of the elves and the impending end of Christmas, the Calvins embark on a mission to rescue the holiday. Along the way, they realize their deep attachment to the North Pole and their reluctance to leave their home. Furthermore, Scott acknowledges his error in selecting a stranger as his successor, recognizing that the role of Santa Claus should remain within the family.
In the trailer for season 2 of The Santa Clauses, we witness the Calvins taking a thrilling ride on a magical sleigh, which causes Cal to faint in the backseat. Implementing his new plan for the family business, Scott assigns Sandra to oversee the reindeer while starting Cal's training to assume the role of Santa Claus.
