Architectural Digest has been compiling lists of the 100 most influential people in interior decoration, architecture, and landscape design for over three decades. The 2024 edition showcases an abundance of talent, with global editorial director Amy Astley noting that the new additions demonstrate a departure from old design rules.

Architectural Digest has announced the 2024 list, which showcases seven designers making their debut in the prestigious AD "Hall of Fame." One of the featured designers is Francis Kéré, the recipient of the 2022 Pritzker Prize for architecture. Kéré is celebrated for his groundbreaking and environmentally-friendly projects in Africa and Europe, where he skillfully integrates natural elements into his intricate designs.

Francis Kéré has made history by becoming the first African to win the Pritzker Prize, often referred to as the Nobel of architecture. The 2022 additions to the prestigious award also include David Rockwell, founder and president of Rockwell Group, known for hospitality designs, and modern luxury designer Victoria Hagan. Additionally, design innovators Jeffrey Bilhuber, Waldo Fernandez, Veere Grenney, and Tino Zervudachi have been recognized.

The AD100 honorees are a diverse group, including the "hotel hitmaker" Bryan OSullivan, known for his designs in hotels, restaurants, and luxury buildings in Europe and New York. Joshua Ramus, founder of REX design firm, has made waves with his work on performance venues such as the Perelman Performing Arts Center in Lower Manhattan. Joining them are social media sensations Sarah Sherman Samuel and Ryan Lawson, as well as industry standouts Yinka Ilori, Thomas Bercy, Calvin Chen, and Laura Gonzalez, who has made a name for herself with luxury brands globally.

The 2024 AD100 list will be featured in the publications January 2024 issue, titled "Legends Only."
