Despite all the hype, there is a need for a brief respite in the anime calendar, and it appears that November is the month when things start to settle down, if only for a bit. However, this doesn't mean that we shouldn't be looking forward to what's in store.

This November, there will be a substantial number of new anime releases to pique our interest. Let's take a look at the top seven anime coming out this month.

'Onimusha'

Onimusha, the latest anime series based on the renowned Capcom game, promises an exhilarating visual experience. Combining striking 3D CGI character animations with meticulously hand-drawn backgrounds, the series is a collaborative effort of highly talented individuals. Our protagonist, Mizu (played by Maya Erskine), embarks on a mission to seek out her father and exact her vengeance for his creation of a disgraceful and disappointing "creature." To accomplish this, Mizu must disguise herself as a male and conceal her distinct blue eyes. However, Mizu is not alone in her journey. She is joined by Ringo (Masi Oka), Taigen (Darren Barnet), and Princess Akemi (Brenda Song).

But what truly sets Blue Eye Samurai apart is its unique blend of influences. Described as "Kill Bill meets Yentel" by co-creator Amber Noizumi, this show promises to captivate audiences. Noizumi further explains that both Zoizumi and Michael Green drew inspiration from various iconic elements of pop culture, resulting in a comprehensive and satisfying viewing experience for everyone.

'Spy X Family' Season 2 - The Cruise Adventure Arc

Spy X Family is available on Crunchyroll starting from November 4th. Although it was initially released on October 7th, the series will continue throughout November and December with a total of twenty-six episodes. This makes it a perfect choice for a holiday anime, providing a comforting and enjoyable experience. It serves as a great alternative to the emotionally intense Jujutsu Kaisen. In contrast to the dark and intense nature of Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy X Family offers a light-hearted and relaxing atmosphere, creating a perfect balance like Yin and Yang. The upcoming storyline, titled "The Cruise Adventure," is particularly exciting for fans of Yor as it marks the show's first Yor-centric arc.

The Cruise Adventure arc centers around Yor Forger, an assassin tasked with protecting Olka Gretcher and her son from multiple assassins aboard a cruise ship. Meanwhile, Loid and Anya, Yor's family, have won a raffle for the same cruise. Yor must now find a way to conceal her secret profession while her family enjoys themselves. 'Onmyoji'

As a Gen Z fan, I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming anime releases in November 2023. The lineup looks incredibly promising, with a diverse range of genres and styles to cater to different tastes.

In particular, I am most excited about "Blue Eye Samurai" and "Spy X Family" Season 2. "Blue Eye Samurai" seems like a thrilling revenge story set in a historical era, and I am intrigued by the combination of action, adventure, and drama that it promises. The unique blend of influences, drawing from iconic elements of pop culture, also has me excited to see how the show will unfold.

On the other hand, "Spy X Family" Season 2 is a highly anticipated sequel to a beloved series that has already proven to be a hit with fans. The light-hearted and relaxing atmosphere of the show, as well as the promise of a Yor-centric arc, make it a must-watch for me. Overall, I believe that November 2023 is shaping up to be a great month for anime fans, and I can't wait to dive into these new shows and see what they have to offer.
