"We have just begun filming season 4, so it is still very early," Stoudt shared in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter in November 2023. "However, we are committed to exploring the repercussions of the events from season 3 for each character. We want to stay true to the journey we have taken the audience on."

Stoudt mentioned in February 2024 that the upcoming 2024 election cycle might influence the new season of the show. She expressed to Variety that there is always a concern about how current events could unexpectedly affect the relevance of the season.
