‘The Masked Singer’ Season 10: A Complete List of Contestant Clues and Identities

Summer is over, and America’s most important sport is back in season: The Masked Singer.

Season 10 of the most unusual competition show on the planet began on September 10, with a special episode that showcased some hints about the new contestants. It also featured performances from previous participants Butterfly (Michelle Williams), Lion (Rumer Willis), and Rabbit (Joey Fatone).

Although the official start of the new season is on September 27, the "Season 10 Kickoff" surprised panelists Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jenny McCarthy by revealing and identifying Anonymouse. Anonymouse wowed the panelists with a stunning rendition of Heart's "What About Love."

The contestants of Season 10 were fortunate that Anonymouse wasn't actually in the competition, as there is no doubt that she would have emerged as the winner of the Golden Mask. "Anonymouse, you are absolutely amazing and you left everyone in awe with your performance," praised Scherzinger. "Thank you for starting off Season 10 with a bang. Anonymouse

Not only did Anonymouse's uniquely recognizable voice catch the judges' attention, but her clue packages also dropped plenty of hints about her identity. She revealed being included in the prestigious TIME100 list and having her handprints immortalized outside the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. "My acting career has firmly established me as a talented mouse," she stated. "I started working at a young age, but it was when I had the opportunity to showcase my voice that I truly made it big."

Visual cues depicted Nick Jonas, Texas, a dinosaur, and a tiara. Anonymouse additionally disclosed her past encounters with distressing times. "Despite appearing optimistic externally, I battled inner demons," she admitted. "Ultimately, I reached my lowest point. However, it served as a wake-up call for me to acknowledge that I still had a multitude of life to embrace."

He went on to reveal that he swiftly rose from obscurity to become a sensation, captivating the hearts of millions within a matter of weeks. S'more further mentioned the unwavering support he received from countless individuals, as they cheered him on every step of the way. Additionally, he spoke about his extensive travels and the captivating experiences he shared with fellow adventurers and revered figures that garnered widespread attention.

The visual cues included a tip jar, a mouthwatering Chicago-style deep dish pizza, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree complete with an angel on its peak. On stage, a film reel gave a clue that hinted at a production "starring S'more." The enigmatic individual subtly suggested, "It's quite evident that I possess abundant talent both on and off the stage."

Cow disclosed that they struggled to handle their emotions until they discovered the power of expressing their thoughts through writing. "Since then, everything has changed. This talent eventually propelled me to the top," they explained. "I have won Grammys, explored the world, and created one hit after another. In a way, you could say I became my own source of success!"

The visual hints associated with Cow included "two-step coffee," a calendar displaying July 4, aviator wings, and a Las Vegas magnet. As for the stage clue, it was a movie ticket, which Cow elucidated by stating, "One of the most notable aspects of my life started with a movie, or shall I say, a moooovie."

Gazelle

Gazelle said the first clue to their identity is remembering which celebrity wore the Gremlin mask in season 4: Mickey Rourke. 

"Gazelle, like a graceful gazelle, has always eagerly embraced opportunities to take the stage," she shared during her clue package on September 27th. "My passion for performing was ignited at the age of 6 when I witnessed a mesmerizing Broadway production. It was then that I knew I wanted to pursue a career in entertainment. As a young teenager, I took a bold risk and participated in a nationwide talent competition, but unfortunately, I faced a painful failure. It was a humbling experience that almost deterred me from pursuing singing altogether. However, music has always held a special place in my heart."

During her live performance, the mysterious figures presented Gazelle with a vinyl record labeled "movie soundtrack." Hinting at her diverse talents, Gazelle teased, "Not only am I involved in acting in movies, I also lend my voice to their musical compositions."

Her visual clues included a Hawaiian shirt, bulldogs and a poster reading, “Hello Doll!”

Diver

"Usually, I'm filled with excitement, but recently, I've been feeling lost and overwhelmed," Diver expressed during his introduction. "I might currently be the most despised creature in the entire ocean."

In the tenth season premiere, Diver's initial clue package hinted at a significant scandal he has experienced. "Adopting a completely different persona feels like a refreshing escape. I've become everyone's favorite person to hate, and honestly, I understand why," he confessed. "I'm the first to acknowledge that I've made mistakes, but they were all for the sake of love. It's disheartening to be judged by individuals who have never even met me, and to be held accountable for the actions of all the terrible individuals they've encountered. However, I hope that all of these negative perceptions will dissipate once I take the stage. What I truly need right now is the opportunity to share my voice without any predetermined notions about who I am. So, tonight, I am mentally preparing myself because I'm not ready to return to the real world just yet."

Diver's visual cues consisted of a compass indicating the direction "MW" and a suit of armor embellished with lion symbol. The ultimate hint he received was the phrase "11 million eyes on Diver" inscribed on a magazine cover. Expressing his intentions to the panel, he stated, "The greater the discussion about my enterprise, the keener I am to distance myself from it."
