Passengers who have registered with Life at Sea cruises are still awaiting confirmation of the departure date, despite it being only a week away. Miray Cruises, the owner of Life at Sea, has yet to finalize the ship for the planned three-year global voyage. Currently, the AidaAura is docked in Bremerhaven, Germany, as the sales process remains ongoing.

The most recent planned departure date for the content fragment has been postponed once again. Initially scheduled for November 1 from Istanbul, it has now been rescheduled to November 11 from Amsterdam. However, following passengers' feedback, they were informed that the new planned date is now November 30. Nonetheless, according to a company spokesperson, no definitive embarkation date or location has been confirmed at this time.

The three-year cruise has been delayed as there is still no ship available. The company has now provided an update for the residents, referred to as passengers, who were originally scheduled to begin their journey from Istanbul on November 1.

Expressing their gratitude for the unwavering support and understanding amidst the recent alterations to the cruise itinerary, they assure organizing accommodations, meals, and transportation in Istanbul after October 28. Additionally, they kindly advise individuals who haven't commenced their voyage to remain where they currently are until the new embarkation point is confirmed. Those who adhere to this instruction will receive onboard credits upon boarding the ship.

Life At Sea Cruises recommends that individuals with refundable flights cancel their bookings. For customers with non-refundable fares, the company assures that it will make alternative arrangements for tickets once the new date and port of embarkation have been officially confirmed.

However, the company is adamant that the cruise will still depart - albeit late.

The three-year cruise hits another obstacle

Passengers have previously voiced their apprehensions about the possibility of the cruise being indefinitely postponed or potentially cancelled.

"Right now, we are all in a state of anticipation and anxiety - the lack of certainty is unbearable," stated an individual who preferred to remain anonymous last week.

"Im okay with a delay, but I wont be okay with a cancellation."

Another, who also declined to be named, told CNN that they feel "sad but proud that we signed up for such an amazing adventure."

"I just hope I get my money back if we dont sail," they added.
