Legion Go, with its impressive hardware and inclusion of Windows 11, draws inspiration from Nintendo Switch in its design. The controllers on either side of the display can be detached, much like the Switch Joy-Con, and a kickstand is also present on the back of the display.
What sets Legion Go apart, however, is its innovative button layout. In addition to the usual face buttons, the back of the controllers feature multiple customizable buttons and a mouse wheel. Lenovo was able to incorporate all these buttons into the controller thanks to the spacious size of the Legion Go. With a screen size larger than the seven-inch displays of Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and Switch OLED, there is ample space to optimize button placement.
Rounding out the handheld PC is a microSD expansion slot, two USB-C ports, and a hardshell carrying case.
