The Knight: Best Non-Teachable Build

Updated by Lewis Smyth on October 6th, 2023: Dead by Daylight is a dynamic asymmetrical horror game that undergoes constant development. With the introduction of fresh content and significant updates always on the horizon, the optimal perks and strongest builds are subject to regular change. The purpose of this update is to ensure that this guide remains current with the top perks to utilize when playing as The Knight in 2023 and beyond.

The Knight in Dead By Daylight: Unbeatable Builds to Dominate the Game

For new players starting their Dead By Daylight journey and lacking access to the DLC Killers, this build solely relies on perks provided by the Knight and the base game. By doing so, players can avoid spending money on pricey perks associated with specific Killers. The strategy of this build centers around locating Survivors close to damaged generators, ensuring they remain injured, and applying constant pressure on generators until the endgame.

Nowhere to Hide (The Knight) - When you kick a generator, it will expose the aura of all Survivors within a 24-meter range for 5 seconds.

Jolt (General Perk) – When you successfully incapacitate a Survivor, all generators within a 32-meter radius will lose 8% progress.

Sloppy Butcher (General Killer Perk) - Basic attacks inflict the Mangled and Hemorrhage status effects, reducing healing speed by 25% and reversing progress when healing is interrupted.

Hex: No One Escapes Death (General Perk) - Once the final generator is repaired, all Survivors become Exposed, while the user gains a 4% Haste effect until the Hex Totem is removed.

The Knight: Best Build

The build is designed for advanced players and includes exclusive perks that can be obtained by purchasing other Killers or finding them in the Shrine of Secrets. Similar to the previous build, these perks focus on utilizing The Knight's power to gain speed during chases and effectively control the map by using regression perks.

One of the perks included is Corrupt Intervention, which is obtained from The Plague. At the beginning of the trial, the three generators that are farthest from the killer's starting location will be blocked for 120 seconds or until the first survivor is downed.

Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance (The Artist) – The Killer begins with four tokens. When each Survivor is hooked on a white Scourge Hook, one token is consumed. The generator with the highest progress will then be forcefully detonated, resulting in a loss of 25% of its current progress.

Pop Goes the Weasel (The Clown) – After hooking a Survivor, kicking a generator within the following 45 seconds will eliminate 30% of its present progression.

Save The Best for Last (The Shape) - Each time you successfully land a basic attack on a survivor who is not the Obsession, your attack cooldown will decrease by 5%. This effect can stack up to a maximum of 40%.

Dead By Daylight is currently accessible on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
