Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager asked each other a crucial question on the July 20 episode of Today: to wash or not to wash. Joined by Today's editorial director Arianna Davis, the coanchors engaged in a discussion about topics that have divided the internet. Davis posed the question to Kotb, 58, and Hager, 41, asking whether one should wash their feet thoroughly during a shower, rather than simply taking a shower.
"Oh no," Kotb exclaimed, admitting that she neglects her feet as she believes they naturally take care of themselves. Hager agreed wholeheartedly, stating, "I completely agree."

Hager inquired if Kotb "bends down" to shave her legs, to which Kotb clarified that she puts her leg up on the landing. This prompted Hager to suggest that Kotb could use the same position to also scrub her feet.
Hager then playfully remarked that she would skip taking on the task. In the meantime, Davis informed the audience that she diligently cleans the space between her toes, jokingly mentioning that there is quite a lot going on there. Hager ended the discussion by revealing that she focuses on cleansing her armpits, intimate areas, and legs.
The topic of showering is being discussed not only by today's women celebrities. Recently, America Ferrera caught the media's attention by admitting her "guilty pleasure" of not showering for a couple of days. In an interview with Vanity Fair on Wednesday, July 19, Ferrera, who was accompanied by her Barbie costars Margot Robbie, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, and director Greta Gerwig, surprised everyone with her revelation. "I never would have expected that," remarked Robbie, 33.
Bathing and the correct methods of bathing have been a popular discussion for several years. In May 2019, Taylor Swift created quite a stir on Twitter during her appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show, where she shared her thoughts on washing her legs.
During the show, she mentioned, "When you shave your legs, the shaving cream acts as soap, doesn't it?" This statement led host DeGeneres, aged 65, to conduct a Twitter poll, asking her followers for their opinions on Swift's perspective. The incident rapidly spread across the internet, prompting people worldwide to reconsider their shower habits.
