Xbox Games Marketing Vice President, Aaron Greenberg, has recently shared new information about the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, which is set to take place on June 11. This highly anticipated event is expected to unveil Microsoft's plans for PC and Xbox gamers in the coming year and has generated even more excitement amongst gamers, particularly amid rumors of a potential new Fable game reveal. In recent years, Xbox Games Showcase has become a standalone presentation, replacing its previous presence at the now-defunct E3 expo. This year's showcase will be available to watch online on June 11 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET, with select theaters throughout the US also screening the event. Following the showcase, Bethesda's new Starfield Direct will also be available to view.

Xbox Games Marketing Vice President Aaron Greenberg has recently revealed some exciting details about the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase in a series of tweets shared by gaming website Resetera. One of the biggest announcements is that all first-party game trailers will feature either in-game footage, in-engine footage, or in-game footage with some cinematics, instead of full CG trailers. Additionally, Greenberg promised transparency by labeling trailers so players will know if they're seeing actual gameplay or not.

However, not all titles showcased will be released within the next year, which may come as disappointing news to some Xbox fans. Greenberg acknowledged this, but encouraged players to come in with an open mind and enjoy the showcase without tempering their expectations. It's worth noting that some titles, like Forza Motorsport and Hollow Knight Silksong, were showcased last year but have yet to be released.

It seems that Microsoft is gearing up to present some high-quality games of its own at the June 11 Xbox Games Showcase, following the news that a selection of PlayStation Showcase games will be making their way to Xbox. According to Greenberg, Microsoft is ready to rise to the challenge.
