All Might, the former number one hero and the Symbol of Peace, played a significant role in the world of My Hero Academia. His real name was Toshinori Yagi, and he possessed a quirk called One For All, which made him the most renowned hero in Japan. His main adversary was All For One, and he gave his all to defeat him. However, during their first battle, All Might sustained severe injuries that led to his declining health. Despite this, he continued to save people with a smile, although he could no longer exert the same level of strength as before.
After discovering Izuku Midoriya, All Might chose him as his successor and passed on the One For All quirk. Subsequently, All Might faced All For One once again and emerged victorious. However, this victory came at the expense of depleting the last remnants of his quirk.
With the One For All quirk now transferred to Midoriya, All Might effectively retired. He lost his powers and experienced a significant decline in stamina, rendering him weaker. His strength and stamina were no longer on par with those of an average healthy male. Unfortunately, his stomach injury also hindered his ability to perform basic combat skills. As a result, the Pro Hero Endeavor took over as the new number one hero.
All Might’s Current Status
Although All Might accepted his loss of power and declining health, he found his weakness frustrating. Living as a disabled former top hero, All Might felt extremely frustrated by his powerlessness. He supported Midoriya and the other heroes, but the absence left by the symbol of peace was evident to everyone. Endeavor, the new number one hero, gave his all, but the constant danger faced by the heroes made All Might regret his lack of power. He felt responsible for the heavy burden on the heroes and his students.
After completely losing his quirk, All Might had no choice but to support others. In the final war arc, All For One modified the quirk-destroying bullet to reverse his aging, rather than destroy his quirk. The side effect of this drug is that All For One will continue to reverse until he disappears completely. Despite the time limit, he has reached his physical prime and can utilize every quirk he has to its maximum potential. This poses a significant challenge for the heroes trying to stop him.
With All For One approaching Tomura Shigaraki, All Might determines that it is the opportune moment to enter the fray. The veteran hero is spotted carrying essential equipment, which he intends to employ in his confrontation against All For One. Although lacking in a quirk, All Might is by no means confronting All For One defenseless.
Will All Might Die?
In an attempt to confront All For One, All Might relies on hero equipment. Unfortunately, this courageous act seems highly improbable as All For One is operating at the peak of his physical abilities while All Might is devoid of his quirk. Despite All Might's unwavering determination, All For One constantly showcases his overwhelming power.
While there is a chance that All Might may emerge victorious in the battle, there is widespread belief that he will not make it through alive. Furthermore, despite Izuku Midoriya demonstrating the ability to change destiny, the deceased hero Sir Nighteye had foreseen a horrific demise for All Might, orchestrated by a malevolent villain. It appears that this foretelling may soon become a reality.
