Initially, it seemed that Quanxi's involvement in Chainsaw Man had come to an end. However, she unexpectedly resurfaces in the manga's recent chapters. This presents an opportunity to delve into her character, as she proves to be incredibly intriguing, surpassing initial expectations.

An Assassin and a Devil Hunter

Quanxi makes her debut in the series as an assassin employed by the Chinese Government. It is unclear whether she exclusively works for them, as she also operates as a private devil hunter. However, it is evident from their brief interaction that the government highly values Quanxi and is willing to grant her any request in exchange for her invaluable services. Unlike the other assassins in the International Assassins arc, Quanxi does not appear to be interested in Denji or the purported immense power of Chainsaw Man's heart. To her, it is simply another job.

Quanxi is widely recognized in the Devil Hunter community. Upon learning that the Chinese Government has dispatched Quanxi to eliminate Denji, the Japanese Public Safety Devil Hunters, Makima and Kishibe, become visibly concerned. They realize that the threat level has significantly increased and they must put in extra effort to ensure Denji's safety.

Interestingly, their familiarity with Quanxi stems from her previous role as a regular devil hunter before she entered the Assassin business. In fact, she had previously collaborated with Kishibe as part of the Public Safety Devil Hunters. They had been partners for nearly a decade, during which time Kishibe appeared to develop unrequited romantic feelings for Quanxi.

After the conclusion of the first part of Chainsaw Man, Quanxi mysteriously vanishes. Speculation arises surrounding her fate, with some believing she perished in the intense battle and others suggesting she merely retreated into hiding. However, to everyone's astonishment, Quanxi reemerges unexpectedly amidst a chaotic riot involving Chainsaw Man. Adding to the surprise, she now holds the position of a member within the Public Safety Devil Hunters. The reasons behind her decision to rejoin the ranks of the Devil Hunters in the Public Safety division remain unknown. Nonetheless, future chapters of the manga are anticipated to shed light on this matter.

The Devil Hybrid and Her Fiends

In the earlier section, we mentioned that Quanxi had a past as a devil hunter before transitioning into the private sector. However, what we haven't disclosed yet is that Quanxi is widely recognized as "The First Devil Hunter". Although it may be hard to fathom, there could be some validity to this title. Why? Simply because Quanxi is not an ordinary human. She is, in fact, a devil hybrid, much like Denji. Hence, it is entirely plausible for her to have dedicated thousands of years to the relentless pursuit and eradication of devils.

Quanxi, a powerful being born from the union of a human and the Bow Devil, possesses exceptional strength even in her human form, rendering her reliance on her devil form rare. To assume her hybrid form, she retrieves a dagger-like object concealed beneath her eye patch, covering her right eye socket. This transformed state only affects her head and arms, while the remainder of her body retains its human appearance, a shared characteristic with other Devil Hybrids in the series.

During the thrilling International Assassination Arc, Quanxi is accompanied by four loyal Fiends eagerly named Cosmo, Pingtsi, Long, and Tsugihagi, who serve as her romantic partners and trusted allies. This tight-knit group resides and traverses together, with the Fiends primarily responsible for eliminating minor adversaries as Quanxi confronts the primary antagonists. Demonstrating deep concern for their well-being, Quanxi strives for her Fiends to lead ordinary lives whenever possible. In turn, the intense devotion and admiration shared between Cosmo, the other Fiends, and Quanxi fuels their desire to provide unwavering support whenever needed.

Power and Combat Abilities

Quanxi, a devil hunter in the world of Chainsaw Man, is widely regarded as the strongest. Kishibe himself claims, "If humanity were to come together for a bare-knuckle fighting tournament, Quanxi would undoubtedly seize the top spot."

Unlike Denji and other Devil Hybrids like Katana Man, who possess enhanced durability and regenerative abilities while in their human forms, Quanxi possesses exceptional power even without transforming into the Bow Devil. Her most notable attributes are her extraordinary strength and speed. Quanxi's movements exceed the capabilities of the human eye, and effortlessly tossing someone as substantial as Kishibe from one building to another showcases her might.

Furthermore, Quanxi possesses exceptional skills in both close combat and swordsmanship. She utilizes her immense strength and incredible speed to swiftly eradicate her foes. During the International Assassination arc, she effortlessly decapitates approximately 50 individuals in the blink of an eye, wielding two swords simultaneously. Furthermore, Quanxi exhibits the ability to snipe her opponents from distances spanning hundreds of miles, effortlessly penetrating any obstacles obstructing the path of her arrows.
