The cast and crew of both Barbie and Oppenheimer expressed their appreciation for each other by exchanging thoughtful and humorous gifts after months of filming. America Ferrera, in a recent episode of BBC's "Screen Time" podcast on Friday, July 21, revealed that her favorite keepsake from Barbie was a personalized gift inspired by director Greta Gerwig's signature style. Ferrera, 39, shared that Gerwig would wear a jumpsuit on set every day, typically blue, but on Wednesdays, everyone would wear pink and she would don a pink jumpsuit instead. However, her constant accessory was Nike Air Force 1s. As a parting gift, the entire cast and crew received Air Force 1s with the word "Barbie" embroidered on them.
Gerwig, 39, was part of the episode featuring Ferrera, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling. During a podcast, Gerwig revealed that the most amazing gift came from Gosling, 42. "Since we filmed the majority of the project here in Leavesden, England, Ryan had these shirts made that said 'Kenergy Tour Live from Leavesden,'" Gerwig shared. "Initially, the tees had Barbie on them as well, but he had to go through a process with Mattel. They informed him that he couldn't use Barbie, but he had free rein with Ken, which perfectly aligns with the theme of the movie."

During his appearance on The View on Friday, director Christopher Nolan shared that his gift, given to him by Emily Blunt, was a tribute to something that greatly bothered him on set.
Nolan, 52, shared that as a wrap gift, he received a pair of Ugg slippers from Emily. On set, it is common for actors to arrive straight from wardrobe in big coats and Ugg boots to make their uncomfortable character shoes more bearable. Nolan would frequently ask Emily to change into her character shoes and get ready to shoot, which annoyed her. Eventually, she jokingly suggested that he should start wearing Ugg boots too.

During their opening weekend at the theaters, it appears that the most cherished gift emerged from the fans themselves, who eagerly flocked to watch both films. Barbie managed to accumulate an approximate $155 million at the domestic box office, while Oppenheimer, featuring renowned actors Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, and Matt Damon, garnered an estimated $80 million. Notably, AMC revealed that over 20,000 movie enthusiasts pre-purchased tickets to view both Barbie and Oppenheimer on the same day, giving rise to a remarkable occurrence known as "Barbenheimer."
