6 Assistant Principal Ruslan Barnett (Sir Gaunt)

Differing from the other individuals mentioned in this compilation, Lutheran Barnett held a membership in the esteemed Knights of Rounds prior to encountering Shadow. In previous years, Lutheran Barnett had achieved the commendable rank of 12th among the Knights of Rounds. Nonetheless, his position was revoked without any clear indication of when this occurred. Eager to regain his former status, Lutheran deviously arranged a series of consecutive murders. Simultaneously, he devised an elaborate scheme to acquire the Eye of Avarice, an ancient relic renowned for its ability to cure any affliction while bestowing upon its possessor an extraordinary influx of magical potency.

5 Acting Archbishop Jack Nelson

Lutheran possessed great proficiency in both magic and swordsmanship, which came as no surprise considering his past as a Round Knight and his victory in the prestigious Bushin Festival. Despite his illness, he surpassed the abilities of ordinary knights and swordsmen, demonstrating exceptional skill and prowess.

Jack Nelson, the 11th seat holder of the Knights of Rounds of the Cult of Diablos, stands as a rare depiction of the Knights of Rounds in the anime. Engaged in pioneering pursuits, he was instrumental in the creation of the tears of Diablos through his experimentation on the left arm of Diablos.

Despite his title as a Knight of the Rounds, Nelson was more inclined towards research rather than combat. Nevertheless, his strength surpassed that of an average swordsman due to the influence of Diablos' tears. Additionally, Nelson supplemented his abilities with a magical cloning technique. By harnessing this power, he was capable of generating numerous copies of himself. However, as the number of clones increased, Nelson's control over them lessened. In the anime, Nelson showcased his intellect by utilizing the Sanctuary Center defense system to confront Shadow Garden. This exemplifies his reliance on strategy and cunning rather than sheer physical prowess.

4 Mordred

Following the events of the inaugural season of the Eminence in Shadow animated series, the Oriana Kingdom and its esteemed Princess Rose emerged at the forefront. It became apparent that the Cult of Diablos exerted considerable influence over the kingdom, and this connection was not a mere coincidence. Present within Oriana was Modred, the ninth-ranking member of the prestigious Knight of Rounds faction. Furthermore, among Mordred's subordinates stood Perv Asshat, a character known for opposing Shadow.

3 Fenrir

Modred's already formidable power was further enhanced when he acquired the Invisible Magic Sword, an age-old elven relic of legendary status. This allowed him to temporarily hold his ground against the formidable opponents Epsilon and Beta in combat. Additionally, Modred regularly consumes a drop of the Tears of Diablos, ensuring the preservation of his strength and immortality.

Among the countless members of the Knights of Rounds, Fenrir stands out as an exceptionally mighty and influential knight, boasting an impressive list of achievements. Previously renowned as a masterful magic swordsman wielding the formidable Blood Fang, this Knight of Rounds has since transformed into a skilled assassin and adrenaline junkie, constantly seeking formidable adversaries to unleash his true talents. Thanks to his proficiency in the art of assassination, Fenrir has earned the notorious title of the 'Devil of Midgar,' striking fear into the hearts of all who hear it.

2 Petos

Instead of losing their immense magical energy that comes from ingesting the tears, the cult in the Eminence in Shadow series faces a threat. Shadow has already freed Diablos' left arm, and now Fenrir decides to utilize the students of the Midgar Spellsword Academy to release Diablos' right arm and replenish the cult with tears.

Before her very eyes, Zeta, a member of the Seven Shadows, tragically witnessed the annihilation of her clan and family at the hands of the Cult of Diablos. The perpetrator responsible for exterminating her entire race is none other than Petos, the Cult's 10th Seat Knight. Unrestrained and remorseless, Petos possesses a twisted inclination to eliminate those he deems unnecessary, despite his elevated position as a high-ranking priest. Exploiting his priestly status, Petos manipulates the truth, decrying his victims and their actions as blasphemous offenses against the Holy Church.

1 Loki

Petos' promotion to becoming a Knight of the Rounds stemmed from the tragic annihilation of the Golden Panther Tribe. It was during this devastating event that he stumbled upon a peculiar sample of 'matches' that proved to be possessed. Determined to uncover its mysteries, Petos promptly dispatched the sample to the laboratory for rigorous experimentation. To his astonishment, this enigmatic sample turned out to be Zeta, a being consumed by an unyielding loathing for the Cult of Diablos. Guided by a profound vengeance, Petos brandishes a menacing chain as his weapon of choice. Depending on his disposition, he can administer a swift, painless demise or subject his targets to excruciating misery.

Loki, a prominent figure within the powerful Knights of Rounds, wields significant authority and sway within the organization. During the Round Table Committee council meeting, Loki robustly highlighted the numerous setbacks of the cult as well as the looming peril known as Shadow Garden. Elucidating the grave consequences, he revealed that two esteemed members of the Knights of Rounds had met their demise, whilst Fenrir, despite multiple attempts, had remained unsuccessful in advancing the cause of the cult.

Considering this, Loki successfully persuaded the haughty, arrogant, and self-interested individuals belonging to the Knights of Rounds to come together and allow Fenrir to unseal Diablo's right arm. This marked a rare occasion where the Knights set aside their differences to confront the common enemy, Shadow Garden, and unanimously appointed Loki as the leader for this mission. Given the Knights of Rounds' notorious pride, one can only speculate about Loki's exceptional capabilities that led them to acknowledge him.
