The Eminence in Shadow Season 3: What's in Store?

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 13 was never in the cards

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 will only have 12 episodes, unlike the 20 episodes in Season 1. Fans had hoped for a similar episode count for the sequel, but unfortunately, Cid and his Shadow Garden won’t be returning in Episode 13. On the upside, fans can look forward to a surprise movie adaptation of the anime.

The anime has created a buzz by hinting at a "mystery announcement" before confirming Season 2, injecting an air of mystery into the reveal that has certainly stirred up excitement among fans.

Daisuke Aizawa created The Eminence in Shadow series, which originally began serialization on the user-generated novel publishing website Shousetsuka ni Narou before being acquired by Enterbrain in November 2018. On February 26, 2021, an anime adaptation of the series was announced, produced by Nexus and led by Kazuya Nakanishi.

While Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ have included the first season, it is only available in limited regions.

As a Gen Z fan of The Eminence in Shadow, I am disappointed that there won't be a Season 2 Episode 13. The anime has been a wild ride, and I was looking forward to seeing how the story would continue. However, I understand that the anime has to end at some point, and I'm grateful for the two seasons that we got.

I'm also excited about the upcoming movie adaptation. I think it will be a great way to continue the story and give fans a chance to see their favorite characters again. I'm hoping that the movie will be as good as the anime, and I can't wait to see what it has in store.
