They first appeared on screen together in the 2001 remake of Ocean’s Eleven, a film that also features other talented actors like Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Casey Affleck, Bernie Mac, and more.
Clooney praised Pitt for his daring film choices and ability to take risks in the movie industry during a joint interview in 2001. He commended Pitt for starring in films that are challenging to produce and for his willingness to push boundaries. Clooney also acknowledged Pitt's status as a prominent movie star and expressed admiration for his work in the film "Snatch," describing his performance as fantastic.
In a light-hearted manner, Clooney jokingly mentioned Pitt's previous title as People's Sexiest Man Alive in 1995, two years before Clooney received the same honor in 1997. He playfully hinted at the passing of the torch between them, humorously noting that Pitt is now the "former Sexiest Man Alive" and implying that someone had to relinquish their title.
They came together again for two more movies in the heist comedy series, Ocean’s Twelve in 2004 and Ocean’s Thirteen in 2007.
Sixteen years after their last film together in Burn After Reading in 2008, Pitt and Clooney are back onscreen in the upcoming action comedy, Wolfs, set to be released in September 2024.
The film's logline describes the story where Clooney portrays a professional fixer tasked with concealing a major crime. In 2008, George Clooney and Brad Pitt reunited to star in the comedy/crime movie, Burn After Reading, directed by Ethan Coen and Joel Coen.
Even though Clooney and Pitt didn't win any awards for their roles, the film did receive the Best Original Score for a Comedy Film at the International Film Music Critics Association Awards in 2009. Additionally, it was nominated for a total of 24 awards.
The National Board of Review also named Burn After Reading in its Top 10 Movies of 2008.

‘Wolfs’
Clooney and Pitt have lent their voices to small roles in the movie "If," directed by John Krasinski. The film, a mix of animation and live-action, was first shown in May 2024. Alongside them, the cast includes other big names like Ryan Reynolds, Emily Blunt, Bradley Cooper, Blake Lively, and Bill Hader.
Clooney and Pitt play as two fixers who usually work alone but are now forced to team up to hide a big crime. Amy Ryan, Austin Abrams, and Poorna Jagannathan are also in the cast.
