The Devil's Plan: A thrilling journey of mind games and ruthless eliminations Witness the intense battles and shocking twists that led to the first contestant's tearful departure Brace yourself for an epic showdown to crown the ultimate winner

In Netflix's The Devil's Plan, contestants embark on a treacherous journey filled with mind-bending challenges, ultimately leading to tears and heartache as they are mercilessly eliminated. However, this round proved to be different, as only two players were sent to prison and no one was eliminated. The Prize match added a fun twist to the game, requiring players to solve puzzles. While some participants gained an advantage with more puzzle pieces, there was no additional prize money for the losers. With high stakes at play, the twelve contestants were divided into teams in hopes of gaining an advantage in The Devil's Plan.

While there were two teams with members assisting each other, only one individual faced elimination first in The Devil's Plan. As the games progress, the number of eliminated contestants has grown, leading others to question their strategies.

The first to be eliminated of the twelve contestants in The Devil’s Plan was Guillaume Patry.

Guillaume, with the most pieces, teamed up with Lee Si-won, Ha Seok-jin, and Kim Dong-jae after the first set of Main Match and Prize games. In the second Main Match, called the Rules Race, each contestant used colored blocks to construct a cause-and-effect sentence that would provide them with an advantage during the game. For instance, if a player successfully escaped from prison, the player who established the rule would receive an escape prison card.

The game involved two dice: one used for regular rolls and another special dice that could be acquired by trading a card. Players would roll the dice and move forward based on the number they landed on. They could also roll to land in prison, but could only exit if they landed on the "leave prison" side of the dice. Upon reaching the "office" space, players could collaborate with their team to modify the group rule.

Guillaume and his team quickly realized their disadvantage when they discovered that their personal rules lacked any action clauses and provided no benefits for them. In contrast, the opposing team had multiple players equipped with the same rule, granting them the advantage of receiving multiple escape prison cards. As the game progressed, Guillaume and his team frequently found themselves imprisoned while the others continued to advance.

However, there was a clever strategy available to Guillaume. He could only ensure his survival if he managed to secure either the tenth or eleventh place. Finishing in tenth place would require him to forfeit one piece, whereas eleventh place demanded a sacrifice of three pieces. Last place, however, demanded the relinquishment of five pieces. Guillaume currently held four pieces.

A game of lies leads to two devastating eliminations in The Devil’s Plan Episode 6

Guillaume faced off against Dong-jae in the final leg of the Rules Race, both of them imprisoned and longing for freedom. Dong-jae managed to successfully escape from prison and then rolled a two. Ultimately, it was Dong-jae who emerged victorious, leaving Guillaume behind bars. Filled with remorse, Dong-jae came to realize that his actions had caused harm to his fellow teammates.

In the upcoming Main Match, Dong-hae and Hye-sung were considered the underdogs and were ultimately eliminated in the Secret Numbers game. Dong-jae, Seok-jin, and Si-won took the lead with the highest number of pieces in the game. In the Secret Numbers game, the participants had to uncover clues in order to determine their own numbers as well as those of their competitors, ensuring their safety from elimination. In this round, Dong-jae made a decision to break away from his usual team and collaborate more with Yoo-min and Hye-sung. He believed that forming an alliance with the underdogs would make it easier to gather additional clues.

It became evident that Dong-jae had become the enemy in everyone's eyes. Even Yoo-min began to question his motives and the information he was withholding. Towards the end of the game, a rumor spread through ORBIT and Kyung-lim that Dong-jae had exposed Yoo-min's numbers to the others.

They urged her to believe that he had betrayed her and to extract his information. In a test of trust, Yoo-min decided to activate one of her cards with ORBIT to unveil the missing pieces of information. As Yoo-min exited the dealer room with ORBIT, Dong-jae promptly confronted her. She had used her card with another team.

Scenes unveiled the persuasion of other teams that led her to believe that Dong-jae had likely betrayed her. Simultaneously, Hye-sung was also under the impression that ORBIT was assisting her, only to be betrayed. The final score disclosed that Dong-jae never betrayed Yoo-min or Hye-jun. Yoo-min ultimately sabotaged her own team, leading to their elimination in The Devil's Plan.

The Go Player loses in a game of strategy and Tetris

In The Devil's Plan, Yeon-woo, a professional Go player, participated in the Laying Grass game. However, she was eliminated upon realizing that her position in the game would result in her having no pieces left. Despite this setback, Yeon-woo and Si-won decided to collaborate and devise strategies to secure better territories in the game.

As the game progressed, Yeon-woo started noticing flaws in her strategy and vulnerabilities in her territory. However, just when she thought things couldn't get worse, betrayal entered the picture. In the final round, she made the decision to buy a tile piece in order to establish a 5×5 territory and ensure her safety from going to prison. On the other hand, Seok-jin had different plans. He also bought a piece, but his intention was to gain an advantage in robbing and secure his own 5×5 square. Despite the other contestants urging him to target someone with a 6×6 square, thus sending them to prison, Seok-jin went for a more aggressive move.

Ultimately, Seok-jin betrayed Yeon-woo by stealing the square she had recently purchased to protect herself. This calculated move led to her elimination in The Devil's Plan.

One of The Devil’s Plan contestants was eliminated in prison

Si-won and Seok-jin devised a scheme to end up in prison together following their Tetris game, only for their efforts to result in an unexpected elimination.

In a mutual trust, both actors ventured into prison. Si-won aimed to uncover the purpose of the concealed pincode safe, and fortunately, Seok-jin held the key. Through assembling the scattered pieces, he unveiled a message displaying "Next Year." It dawned on them that the code for the safe was 2024, which unveiled a hidden Secret Chamber. The message on the chamber door presented a cryptic choice between salvation and elimination, permitting only one contestant to enter each day.

Equation Hi-Lo led to four contestants being eliminated in The Devil’s Plan

Behind the closed door lurked two eerie employees. Engaging in a round of Blind Gomoku, the contestant would either emerge victorious, acquiring 10 pieces, or face instant elimination. Si-won courageously stepped into the chamber as the first participant. However, due to a lack of strategic prowess and flawed memory, she was defeated in the game, ultimately leading to her elimination from The Devil’s Plan.

As the final games approached, the number of contestants decreased from seven to three after a grueling seven-hour match of Equation Hi-Lo.

After Si-won's elimination, Seok-jin returned to the Equation Hi-Lo game with 10 pieces that he had won from the Blind Gomoku game. The Hi-Lo game's rules were intricate and resulted in the highest number of eliminations throughout the entire series. Once a player ran out of chips, they were immediately disqualified.

Following several rounds, Kyung-lim was the initial contestant to be eliminated. The game progressed with palpable tension until Yoo-min met the same fate, closely followed by Seungkwan and Joon-bin. The gripping game of Hi-Lo ultimately concluded with Seok-jin, Orbit, and Dong-joo emerging as the finalists to compete in the ultimate Prize Match.

A game of Four Player Three in a Row determined the two finalists

With Orbit, Dong-joo, and Seok-jin as the remaining three, the Prize Match resulted in Dong-joo’s elimination from The Devil’s Plan.

The three contestants collaborated to compete against Kim Sa-rang, an unidentified guest player who happens to be the youngest Korean national chess player. Orbit, Dong-joo, and Seok-jin devised a plan to determine the color of the mystery player's chess pieces. Through pre-determined moves, they successfully unraveled the identity of the mystery player.

Although they had worked together for most of the rounds, Dong-joo's elimination occurred in the fourth round due to a mistake in his move. Orbit mistakenly placed his red piece in the wrong position, where it was supposed to be placed between Sa-rang's two blue pieces for Seok-jin to place his yellow piece on top. As a result, without the red piece in place, Dong-joo's green pieces became ineffective.

With just two stacked pieces separating her blue set, Sa-rang triumphantly placed her last blue piece on the green one, solidifying her victory. Consequently, Dong-joo, who had the least number of final pieces, was eliminated.

The final games determined The Devil’s Plan winner

In the finale of The Devil's Plan, it came down to Seok-jin and Orbit competing for the grand prize after Dong-joo's elimination. Ultimately, the actor emerged victorious.

The final showdown of The Devil's Plan pitted the scientist against the actor. Seok-jin and Orbit battled it out in two of the three final games. The first game, Nine Men's Morris, required players to eliminate their opponent's pieces in each round. The player who won the most rounds would be declared the winner of the game.

After putting in a great deal of effort and strategic thinking, Seok-jin emerged victorious in the game of Nine Men's Morris. Subsequently, they ventured into the Hexagon game, which required them to commit numbers to memory and provide the appropriate lettered response to correspond to the Target number.

In order to determine the winner, each player had to correctly identify a sequence to earn a point. If they guessed incorrectly, they would lose a point. Additionally, they needed to identify all possible patterns. After hours of playing The Devil's Plan, Orbit's thinking abilities became fried. Despite being tied with Seok-jin at six points, Orbit lost a point due to an incorrect answer, while Seok-jin earned a point for answering correctly. As time went on, Orbit was unable to find another pattern and ultimately lost the game of Hexagon. With Seok-jin winning two out of the three games, Orbit was eliminated in the finale of The Devil's Plan, making Seok-jin the winner.
