A new fan poster for the DC Universe showcases all the different live-action versions of Batman, giving the Dark Knight a Spider-Verse treatment. Batman has been portrayed by numerous talented actors in both film and TV, and with the popularity of the multiverse genre, many superhero stories have explored the concept of characters meeting their alternate counterparts from different universes. However, unlike other heroes, Batman has never had the opportunity to encounter his own alternative version. To visualize what it would look like if all the live-action Batman actors united, AGT Design created an impressive poster called "Bat-Verse."
The Bat-Verse poster showcases Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, positioned at the top. Surrounding him are previous Batman actors including Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Michael Keaton, the late Adam West, and Val Kilmer.
Is It Too Late For A Live-Action Batman Crossover Movie?
The Flash movie missed the chance to bring together multiple Batman actors onscreen, even though it would have been a historic moment for the character. It would have been particularly significant for Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck to meet, as this is likely their final time portraying Batman. Warner Bros. Discovery may still explore the idea of a live-action multiverse movie, but time is running out as the actors age. As an alternative, an animated DC movie could be made with the actors providing their voices, allowing for greater creative freedom without the constraints of live-action budgets.
It remains to be seen if a Bat-Verse project will come to fruition, considering that the studio's main focus is on the new DC Universe and they are moving away from the DCEU for a fresh beginning. After the DC Universe has had time to establish itself, it wouldn't be surprising if a Batman multiverse project emerged as a future Elseworlds film. Undoubtedly, if there ever came a day when various versions of Batman united, particularly in live-action form, that movie would unquestionably be a major event in the comic book movie genre.
