Introducing The Bunny Graveyard
A unique Steam horror game with 'Overwhelmingly Positive' reviews is coming to the Nintendo Switch in the 'very' near future. The Bunny Graveyard, a recently debuted horror adventure with 'Overwhelmingly Positive' Steam reviews, is coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2024. Its upcoming port is poised to extend the selection of high-quality horror games on the Nintendo Switch.
Developed by Puerto Rico-based Pichon Games, The Bunny Graveyard is a horror adventure about a self-aware rabbit trying to uncover the truth about her existence. As such, it promises some memorable examples of fourth wall breaks in video games, as well as a plethora of deeply unsettling moments that stand in stark contrast to its Game Boy Advance-style pixel art graphics. The first episode of The Bunny Graveyard was released in late September 2023, and is currently available on Steam and Epic Games Store.
Pichon has recently taken to Twitter to announce that its first-ever game is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year. While its exact release date has yet to be determined, the Puerto Rican studio said that The Bunny Graveyard will be coming to Nintendo's hybrid console 'very soon.' In light of that promise, a Q1 2024 release seems like a plausible scenario.
Since The Bunny Graveyard is an episodic adventure game, this upcoming release will consist of its first episode, which is the only chapter that Pichon has completed to date. Following its launch, all subsequent episodes of the game will ostensibly reach the Switch in tandem with their PC debuts. Pichon said it 'might' open the pre-orders for the Switch version of The Bunny Graveyard 'soon.' As tends to be the case with modern indie projects, this port will be a digital-only release, available only via the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The Switch Port and Price Details
The inaugural episode of The Bunny Graveyard normally retails at $6.99 on Steam and Epic Games Store, although it's currently also available at 30% off as part of the Steam Winter Sale that ends January 4. Responding to one fan question on social media, Pichon noted that a PlayStation port of its unique horror adventure 'doesn't sound impossible,' although it's not ready to commit to it for the time being.
Aside from the Switch version of the game, the company is currently also working on the second episode of The Bunny Graveyard, which started development circa early October 2023. Tentatively called Terror in Carrot Town, the upcoming chapter is slated to be released before the end of 2024. In the meantime, horror fans interested in playing The Bunny Graveyard on the go technically don't have to wait for its Switch port, as Pichon's first title has been on the list of Steam Deck Verified games since its release.
The Future of The Bunny Graveyard
Pichon Games has created a buzz in the gaming community with the announcement of The Bunny Graveyard's Nintendo Switch port. As the game's fan base eagerly awaits its arrival on the hybrid console, the developers have hinted at the possibility of bringing the subsequent episodes to the Switch in the future. With the second episode, Terror in Carrot Town, already in development, players can expect a continuation of the gripping narrative and spine-tingling experiences that make The Bunny Graveyard a standout in the horror genre.
