Unveiling the Blacksmith's Path
Unlocking the potential of supporting characters is a pivotal aspect of your journey in Enshrouded. Among these characters, the Blacksmith holds a crucial role, providing essential resources for crafting. Here's a comprehensive guide to locating the Blacksmith and establishing a shop for him in Enshrouded.
The Blacksmith's Ancient Vault is due north of the starting area.
The Blacksmith's Ancient Vault, nestled to the north of the starting area, is the abode you seek. However, before you can benefit from his expertise, you must embark on the quest 'Travel Through the Shroud' to rescue him from captivity.
The Summoning Staff lets you place NPCs in other locations in your base.
Embark on a perilous journey through a Shroud-infested valley, brimming with challenges and adversaries. Once inside the vault, overcome the scavenger-type enemies and free the Blacksmith from his confinement. However, his physical presence will be summoned later on.

Summoning the Blacksmith
Return to your base and craft the Summoning Staff, a simple tool requiring only a single Twig. Assign it to your hotkeys and use it to summon the Blacksmith to a specific location within your base.

Crafting and Construction
With the Blacksmith now at your base, you'll gain insight into the diverse crafting methods available in Enshrouded: Manual Crafting, Blacksmith Crafting, and Workbench Crafting.
Construct a small building with a rooftop. When you're done, use the Summoning Staff to move the Blacksmith inside the building.
Manual Crafting encompasses essential items such as the Flame Altar, Workbench, Summoning Staff, Bandage, and more. Meanwhile, the Blacksmith's blueprints offer production and refinery-type structures like the Forge and Charcoal Kiln, as well as the formidable Fur Armor set for enhanced defense. Finally, the Workbench presents blueprints for Stone/Wood Blocks, furniture, and useful tools like the Glider and Grappling Hook.
Construct a small building with a rooftop. When you're done, use the Summoning Staff to move the Blacksmith inside the building.
Additionally, the Blacksmith provides the option to Enhance Equipment, allowing you to upgrade your armaments using Runes.
Establishing the Blacksmith's Shop

1. Craft the Construction Hammer via the Manual Crafting menu using 1x Stone.
2. Gather Stone and Plant Fiber to craft Rough Stone Blocks, Plant Fiber Roof Blocks, and a Wooden Door at the Workbench.
3. Utilize the Construction Hammer to initiate Building Mode and construct the shop by laying foundation blocks, walls, and a rooftop with a door.
4. Employ the Summoning Staff to relocate the Blacksmith inside the constructed building, effectively transforming it into his shop.
With the Blacksmith comfortably situated in his dedicated space, your journey in Enshrouded takes a significant step forward.
