According to Official Charts, The Beatles have achieved a remarkable feat by returning to the top spot on the UK charts after a span of 60 years and six months since their first No. 1 hit, "From Me To You," in May 1963. This surpasses the previous record held by Elvis Presley, who had a span of 47 years and six months. Additionally, The Beatles have set another record by securing their latest No. 1 hit, "The Ballad of John and Yoko," which comes 54 years after their previous chart-topper in 1969. This achievement surpasses the 44-year gap previously held by English singer-songwriter Kate Bush between her songs "Wuthering Heights" in 1978 and "Running Up That Hill" in 2022.
