The Bear is gearing up for Season 3, with production scheduled to start early next year. Star Jeremy Allen White is aiming for high-profile guest stars to join the show. Despite The Beef's departure, The Bear continues to thrive. After a successful first season, the acclaimed drama attracted a large audience for its second season on FX and Hulu.

Christopher Storer created the show, following Carmy (White) and his team of chefs as they aim to improve their cooking skills while also facing personal challenges such as anxiety and the return of childhood sweethearts. Season 3 was renewed after the writers' strike and SAG-AFTRA striking a new deal, ensuring the return of The Bear's cast to the kitchen.

The Bear Season 3 eyes early 2024 start

The Bear is aiming to begin production on Season 3 sometime in late February-early March, as per Deadline.

Actor White, who is set to appear in A24's The Iron Claw in December, expressed his optimism about his perpetually stressed chef character escaping the walk-in fridge we last saw him in at the end of Season 2 during an interview with the outlet. While he has yet to receive scripts for the third season, he is hopeful for another stellar lineup of guest stars, similar to the notable appearances in the previous season. Notably, big-ticket players portrayed members of the Berzatto clan, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Bob Odenkirk, Sarah Paulson, John Mulaney, Gillian Jacobs, as well as the return of Jon Bernthal. Additionally, Olivia Colman starred in Episode 7 as the owner of a prestigious restaurant.

The show's realistic portrayal of the restaurant industry and the personal struggles of its characters has resonated deeply with me and many others in my generation.
