Joey Graziadei is ready to hand out roses.
Exclusive debut of the season 28 poster for The Bachelor featuring Joey and his tagline "Game. Set. Match." The 29-year-old tennis instructor previously appeared on season 20 of The Bachelorette, where he competed for Charity Lawson's heart, ultimately finishing as the runner-up to Dotun Olubeko. Joey expressed his continued love for Charity during the After the Final Rose in August.
"I can't put into words how much this means to me. It was your journey, and I was grateful to be a part of it. Thank you for everything," he told her. "I truly wish you all the best in whatever comes next."
Afterward, Jesse Palmer revealed that Joey would be the next star of the franchise.
"It feels incredibly surreal," he said. "It's slowly sinking in, but I'm doing my best to stay in the moment and enjoy it. It's pretty wild. I'll be the first to admit, I never saw this coming. I had no idea my life was going to take this turn. It's crazy! I had put finding 'The One' on the back burner for a while, but I'm ready to make it a priority again."
Production on Joey's season began weeks later and wrapped up at the end of last month. During the finale of The Golden Bachelor on Monday, November 30, Bachelor Nation was treated to a sneak peek of Joey's upcoming season.
"I'm an ordinary guy who was just searching for that special someone," he says in the teaser.
Towards the end of the journey, Joey becomes visibly emotional. "I had hoped we'd have more time," he laments.
He continues to express his fears, hinting that his front-runner may not be all in.

"I'm ready to meet my life partner, but I'm afraid that the person I'm opening up to doesn't share the same feelings," Joey expresses. "I want to be fully committed and open, but I find myself holding back. I don't want to go through that heartbreak again."
The Bachelor season 28 premieres on ABC Monday, January 22, at 8 p.m. ET.
