Bode Miller disclosed that Asher, the three-year-old son of him and his wife Morgan Beck, had to be hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning. In a now-deleted Instagram post originally shared on Thursday, July 27, Miller explained that they had a crane parked in their driveway for a few hours earlier in the week. Although they had kept the children indoors for safety reasons, the young ones still fell ill as a result of the exposure.

In addition to Asher, Miller and Beck have four children together: Nash, 7; Easton, 4; Askel, 3; and Scarlet, 19 months. The couple got married in 2012 after a brief 5 months of dating. Sadly, they also experienced the loss of their daughter Emmy, who tragically drowned at the age of 2. (Miller is also the father of two children, Dace, 15, and Samuel, 10, from previous relationships with Chanel Johnson and Sara McKenna, respectively.)

While all of Miller and Beck's children were not feeling well, Asher's condition deteriorated.

“Asher was hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning,” shared Miller. “Fortunately, everyone is safe and sound, but this incident serves as a vital reminder to all parents about the hazards of carbon monoxide. Please make sure to test your CO detectors.”

Bode Miller and Morgan Beck have previously experienced a frightening incident with their child at the hospital. In December 2022, Beck revealed that their son Asher had a febrile seizure. This type of convulsion is triggered by a high fever and can occur in young, healthy children without any previous symptoms.

"Literally living on the edge, life always presents unexpected challenges," she shared in her Instagram Story, accompanied by a photo of Miller occupying a hospital bed with their young child. "Our world came crashing down when Asher experienced a frightening febrile seizure yesterday. Reliving the anxiety from the past, we rushed him to the same hospital where Emmy was treated. Thankfully, this time we were fortunate enough to bring our precious child home."

After Asher's hospital visit, Beck reassured her followers that the little one had fully recovered from the initial health scare. She happily reported that Asher was "back to his usual self and comfortably settled at home."

"In the midst of this chaotic holiday season, I am reminded to embrace life's small blessings, recognizing that we already possess everything essential," she wrote in December 2022. "Our loved ones, our well-being, and the gift of additional time. Indeed, the moments we share with the people we hold dear are the truest treasures we could ever desire."
